You can add Tennents to that list as well. I bought 36 cans for £12 last night. I hear they are limiting the offer to 4 boxes per person.
We'll win Ulster some day, not sure when.

going to have a go at this!

1: Franziskaner Weissbier (from the bottle)
2: Augustiner Helles (from the bottle)
3: A good pint of Guinness

my short of choice would be Jamesons, closly followed by Bush.

can't believe someone mentioned Paulaner and Erdinger, especially compared to the first 2 above!!

MaroonAndWhite

1) Deuchars IPA (Edinburgh's finest)
2) Guinness
3) Alexander Keiths India Pale Ale

Ever have them on draught stpauls? Franziskaner is a decent weissbier, but never had it on draught, and both Erdinger and Paulaner on draught would outshine it. Besides, Franziskaner's an InBev macro now!
Carlsberg don't do Gombeenocracies, but by jaysus if they did...

Funny how my opinion of some posters on this thread has changed dramatically after seeing their choice of beer.

IMHO the only quality beer from this island and the one beside us is Guinness and even then it is difficult to get a decent pint of it. (Apologies to Murphy's and Beamish drinkers but they're not for me)

There are decent Dutch and Danish beers but Heineken and Calrsberg are not among them.

Of the mass produced continental stuff sold here on draft, only Stella would get a pass from me.

Top of the list (Authur excluded) is the draft stuff you get in the Czech Republic, Germany & Belgium.

As for Budweiser,

Bud going down tastes like Budvar coming up.

spent 12 months in Munich Fear, had both of them from the tap on a regular basis, and still would prefer Franziskaner!! they are nice beers, but just not Franzies league.
although i have found a weissbier in /tesco called Weihenstephen and comes a close second to it.

Midman

1.Good pint of Guinness ( the exiles dream!)
2.Leffe Blond (Belgian loveliness)
3.Franziskaner (The Monks downfall)

Ive found as well that local european lagers wipe the floor with piss like Carlberg and harp. Estrella is the tastiest lager around

Square Ball

3x15 tin packs of Carlsberg for £18, 40p a tin, not bad for that price
