Have recently started listening to 98FM and Newstalk occasionally when in work.
Q101.2fm or Magic FM ;)
Newstalk for me.
George Hook in the evenings however am starting to flick around in the mornings as them 2 (Gilroy and your wan) can be dog ignorant to guests.
One thing to argue a point but they can be just plain rude.
And of course lm/fm for the sports!
Phantom FM, 105.8. Usually only on Monday night, tend to tune in to Alice Cooper on Today FM, ocasionally.(he's a gas man), RTE 1 for the Sport on Sundays.
Cool FM is hard to beat. Although your boy Pete Snowden in the morning is an ass.
Listen to Today FM during the day at work, then listen to Chris Moyles at home when workin (Listen again is great) in the evenings and then 104FM or Northern Sound after midnite
Where's the Phantom option?
Highland on the holidays. Last word in the evenings. Moyles in the mornings. Talksport or 5 live at other times. Sometimes dunseith for a treat.
newstalk, must be close to 30 hours a week of sport on it.. excellent
Used to listen to Moyles - but got p1ssed off at the way his sidekicks laugh at his jokes even if it is blatantly unfunny. Started to listen to Wogan in the morning - was pleasantly suprised at his choice in music.
Listen to Evans on way home.
If wanting chat, listen to Talksport
Newstalk for me - but would switch around in the evenings as i find Hook to be an awful old blatherer and would have Rte1 or Last Word on instead.
As his holiness said you can't beat LM/FM for the local sports
Nothing beats the breakfast show in the mornings with Ian Dempsey & Today FM "the Gift Grub" :D
Phantom - Good tunes, no dempsey, d'arcy etc

Usually miss this but AM Kelly is good before Ian.
Would have listened to Q101 until last Summer when it went badly downhill music wise. At the moment, its usually either BBC Radio 1, RTÉ 2FM, Cool FM or Virgin with Today FM at the weekends.
listening to phantom right now.
its my no.1
no shitetalk or phoney DJ voices.
altho ur 1 on sunday mornin is a pain- pearl.
when im in the mood for pop itll be today fm.
newstalk for when i realise i need to be a grown up and get informed.
today fm, ian dempsey in the morning & mat cooper in the evening. But during the day you cann't beat joe duffy!!!
Today Fm for me
Ian Dempsey,Ray D'Arcy and Matt Cooper, also love Friday night 80's
Q102 is good too
The question is a strange one, Call me odd but to me its comparable to asking what Television station do you watch? Im a big TV3 man me.
i listen to talk sport, greta craic in the mornings with alan brazil, now ian wright is on in the evenings
Raidio na Gaeltachta
5 Live
Dunseith and Nolan
Joe Duffy
Newstalk when I'm south of Dundalk

Not really, radio, well for myself anyway, is something I only listen to in the car, that is usually an hour in the morning going to work and an hour in the evening going home, same time each day, other times I may switch but when I switch my car on my radio station of choice is Today FM.
How is newstalk not an option ???

I have been pleasantly surprised by Ian Wright on Talksport because I hated him on TV. BBC tended to use him as an England cheerleader but on the radio he seems less childish and more intelligent.
Mike Parry is a bit of a clown, so too is Adrian Durham although I would presume a lot of the views of these 2 are specifically aimed at getting the listeners to ring in to argue.
Where is this Newstalk you write of?
I've recently tuned in to Today FM on the advice of a few others. It's OK just. What annoys me is their news values when it comes to sport. For example, the headline sports news will be about Paul Jewell or Stuart Pearce for about 2 mins, then maybe some GAA afterwards.
As for the strange question post, I rarely change stations whilst driving (the only time I lisen to the wireless).
If I want to feel rather sedated I tune in to Lite FM, an easy-listening station with no DJ.
Mostly Talksport though.

It's our newest National station Shane. Keep up, good man! :P

or 106 to 108fm
or sky 0210
If Newstalk is up there then so should RnaG
And what about Midlands Radio 3 and im sure everyone has heard the Johnny Barry show on KCR :D
Today FM when I want to listen to Bell X1 and Girld Aloud every second song. Which is never.
Radio na Gaeltacht.
105fm
Plays lots of oldies. Even has F Mitchell spinning the odd disk.
Switch it off when George Jones comes on though.
Why isn't Red FM on that list..It's the Peoples Republic choice

You're having a laugh :D :D
Good to see so many votes for Phantom. I have to admit I listen to Today FM more though!!
Agree with O'Neill, their sports news is heavily soccer lead. The only time GAA gets the lead on the sports news is when Paul Collins is presenting
Paul Collins is a pain in the hole,He never shuts up about Tipperary
First he'll talk about the Premier ,then he'll go on about Tiobraid Arainn and then the Blue and Gold and thats all in the one sentence!!,Always turn off when he's on Micheal Mcmullen is far better
What about stations for sports coverage.........i.e. live games?
And no mention of Lyric FM. Surely there are some out there into more eclectic music than your one hour repetitive pop crap.

Hard to beat RTE Radio 1 - particularly MW & LW for evening games. Othe than that the local radio station LMFM or Northern Sound, they have a few characters on Northern Sound
Pete Snodden in the morning, what a man
