Online posters who use latin and the word "fallacy" to are generally dunderheads.

Especially people who are pushing a concept designed to protect establishment power but who then throw their toys out of the pram when they're presented with obvious examples of the concept they're trying to push - examples they don't like.

This is disputed. "Ankle bracelets" have been mentioned. I'm not in a position to judge but manacles would be an odd item to depict on Victorian-era decorative statuary.
