Great to see Laois in Tier 1. Have they the ability to stay there as I assume there is some form of relegation/promotion?

Home to Kk and the Dubs in the last 2 games

Any details of a panel,I know lads have been told whether they made it or not

Absolutely massive challenge, that's for sure. To win one game out of the 3 and be competitive in the others would be success. To win more than one would be a breakthrough.

Isn't minor U17 next year or is that just football?

According to Handy in his report,12 different hurling people were approached in 2017 to manage the team.

Everyone of them turned it down.

He then had to go to Martin Fogarty to see if any outsiders were willing.

The Laois Tpday report on these years minor championship states that Laois didn't take part in it last year. What competition are they referring to as Laois hurlers were in minor last year.

U17 championship they didn't enter as far as I'm aware. They entered u17 Celtic league and got hockied in most games. I'd say that's what was being eluded to!

Good to see Enda Lyons over the team. He was with the u14s a few years ago and I thought he was very good.
