Had mixed emotions watching yesterday, wanted to win obviously but the we devil on my other shoulder was secretly hoping we do it next week against Sevco and that would help Hibs to hopefully 2nd place but after the final whistle i was still upset we lost...Strange day TBH.

In saying all that Hibs were worthy of their win and were the best team...fully deserved.

Why do you hope they do it against Sevco .

The whole Alexis Sanchez saga showed that Man City are operating at another level to Man United. United are #2 in the City.

To be honest football is now like the all blacks playing all Ireland league teams .  They are at another level to every other team .  The authorities have created a monster .   

Spurs lack a killer instinct and I'd put that down to the manager and the way he looks down on the domestic cups. Spurs have managed to blow every high pressure game they've been in the last 3 years, I've touted him as a potential United manager but having second thoughts  although that can change if he starts winning trophies over the next few years.

Spurs big problem is that a good few of their players are not CL level.  Dier, trippier,  Davies are sold mid table EPL players , Sanchez looks a bit iffy , Dele] Alli is slow as a funeral and the subs looked average .  Lamela didn't show bravery at the end .  Last night they lost to a side who were in  2 of the last 3 CL finals albeit a team in decline .

Spurs are not paying top dollar and truth told are currently overachieving  .  The notion last night's defeat is down to the manager being supposedly dismissive of domestic cups in wrong .

Based on what I am watching young McTominay made a good choice opting for Scotland .

Beat by a top 6 team away from home, this  after 5 wins in a row and everyone loses their shit, Liverpool did the same and bounced back and will probably beat spurs next... City have just cruised ahead with little or no mistakes and the system they play is great! Like spurs and Liverpool!

Run of poor form by some players lately hasn't helped, results against lesser teams has papered over those problems! I think next year will see a more settled team, but if City keep Pep and expand their squad they will dominate again..
