Title: Flight Transfers - HELP NEEDED
Post by: 118cmal on April 01, 2010, 06:51:09 PM
I'm about to book flights to New York in the summer.  I'll be getting a connecting flight from Dublin to London and the London to JFK.  I'm due to arrive in London Heathrow Terminal 1 at 15.05 and the flight to JFK leaves terminal 3 at 17.15.

Will this leave enough time between the flights to get luggage and transfer between terminals?

Thanks for your help,
Mal

The airlines should transfer the luggage for you not all airlines do this but most of the major airlines have a reciprocating agreement.

You should be able to book your flights in at Dublin so they will send them on to your connecting flight. I done than when had a connecting flight in London to America. I think 2 hours should be enough as well to get from one terminal, through security to the other terminal.
