Not sure if there is already a thread for this or not.

Any teams out there using video tools for match analysis. If so, which ones?

Derry / Derry School/College Thread
October 12, 2010, 03:25:43 PM
Are St Mary's Magherafelt or Maghera likely to challenge for the MacRory Cup?

What about the various Vocational Schools competitions?

Tyrone schools have had the monopoly of it recently, can the Derry schools challenge?

In the Mageean I see Maghera are through to the semis?

However there are very little rannafast results on the Ulster Colleges site? Are Pius, Maghera, St mary's going to feature in the knock out sections.  What about St Columb's Derry in the B?

Tour of South Derry

The 10th of October sees the third running of the Carn Wheelers 'Tour of South Derry'.  The annual charity run which has now raised nearly £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support starts from Rossa Park, Magherafelt and covers a distance of 50 miles.  Following on from its introduction last year, there is now a shorter route of 35 miles which bypasses the hills near Draperstown and Slaughtneil.

The online entry system has now closed, although entries will still be accepted on the day there will be no guarantee of the 'Tour of South Derry' T-shirt.

Sign on opens on the day at 9:00am @ Magherafelt GAA Grounds with the cyclists leaving at 10:30am.

The entry fee for this worthwhile cause is £15.00 which includes tea/coffee before the start, refreshments during and after the event and a souveneir T shirt.

GAA Discussion / County Development Squads
March 28, 2007, 03:08:38 PM
What is the feeling in other counties about Development Squads?

What is the youngest age?  Is it U14.  This is too young.

What players do you target, the elite, everyone or just those that clubs nominate?

Any Tyrone folk out there?  Have they been the basis for your recent success or has it the high level of school coaching?
