Would Irelands call be played before the match?

Maybe have Snow Patrol and/or The Saw Doctors come up with something new?

Lads spending £200 on them. You can still get a good pair of Dunlops at Nutts Corner for 30.

They'll turn you away at the Fintona turnstiles for those boots.

2 choices, get the dear boots or lobby to move the match to Kildress.

Was driving past a Eurospar the other day and they'd bags of coal, 20KG for £17.95... That's over £10 dearer than this time last year.

FFS has Putin blocked the coal exports as well?

Heard that the shipping costs to import a vessel load went up massively and that all the loading shovels and fork lifts etc are now on clear rather than red diesel.

Not defending the justification.

In south Derry it's never referred to as the chip shop.
It would be along the lines of 'do you fancy a Chippy tonight'. And said Chippy would be obtained from the Chippy.
It's never called a chipper either.

Any recommendations for chippy's in that part of the word?

Bridie's Chippy in Ballinderry - 40 years on the go

The in-laws have great brags of it, never got there yet.

Was at those. Felt Joyce had the winning of the drawn game but he stayed out of position and away from Moynihan.  Galway were weak enough in those two games. They showed a little bit of the white flag and didn't bring the Galway Roar.  I havent been convinced about Galway football since having the stomach for it. Meath the following year were done. Do the Galway men on here believe they are ready or is it another hopeful Connaught crusade?  Kerry will eat hope for breakfast.. Its what they do...

Have Galway ever beaten Tyrone?
Pre or post 2003?

We used to get laughed at for only getting to an AI final if we met Galway in the semi.. FWIW I hope Galway win.

Galway were listing badly in the first half of that match, (not helped by Tomas O'Se's liberal use of the fist on Ml. Donnellan), so Joyce had to be moved out to centre-forward, away from Moynihan, to help Galway get a toehold back into the match. Which he did, admirably. As stated, Galway were missing Mannion and Fallon in 2000, absolute key players from 1998. They could only beat what was in front of them in 2001, and Meath had walloped the defending champions in the semi that year.

Kerry have displayed plenty lack of stomach also in their time. With the greatest of respect to Armagh, 2002 was defeat snatched from the jaws of victory while they somehow contrived to throw away last year's semi to Tyrone. For some reason Kerry frequently have problems with Ulster sides, whereas good Galway teams never fear northern opposition.

Have Galway ever beaten Tyrone?

Looking some decorative stone - something that stops vehicles driving on grass verges - Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Irwins aggregates in Coalisland used to sell small bags of decorative stone/Pee gravel.

I heard a class song today  but can't find out who it's by. It goes, "I wish I was a fishmonger, bumbling on the bees"
Can anyone help??

It's taken from a Mayo song... far away from the Sam Maguire and its bitter memories..

Rabb is one off the biggest liars for years.

He'd a shipping contract sorted with a company that hadn't a vessel.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was negotiating a redundancy package on his terms before he walks away.. like the German officer in Inglorious Back stars.

Not enough ppl to pick fresh food from the fields and it's going to rot added to the farmers expecting this and planting less veg etc.

farmers are buying foreign produce to fulfil contracts. Food hasn't gotten to it's price peak yet.

Saw Mint Aero cheese cake in a shop just outside Cookstown yesterday at £9.. was normal size, thought it a bit mad.

I think you can look at it in a few ways, certainly the cost of things are well over priced, and some items are essential. but you'll be doing yourself a favour in the long run by staying away from the mint Aero cake, same for the other things we bought when we could actually not bother with..

5 Filltes £6 in places.. there's at least 2 meals in that, a curry or stir fry
500 mince beef £5 quid in places.. pasta or burgers couple of meals
Spud, rice and veg, with your own curry powder/passata/stir in sauces

If you really looked at what you cook and what you end up throwing out its criminal... Kids are the worst for it, especially when the refuse to eat the same thing you have made!

My mother would do some baking, she'd tell you it wouldn't pay but for the satisfaction of doing it.
Household budgets will get reviewed even more coming into the winter, might have to buy that £9 cheesecake for the freezer.
