Right, I was promised a smart  phone by herself  at Christmas! Which to get though! I have been looking ahead ( my curent contract finishes next month) and it is mind boggling, how many smart phones are out there! I haven't a clue, my sister has the Galaxy S which she swears by, my brother on the other hand has  an I-Phone 4 and he loves that! I like the look of the HTC myself  but the reviews I have read are not that hectic! In any case I knew that my knowledgeable friends on GAAboard would have the definitive answers for me so have at it! I am not too worried about a plan just yet as I intend to play them off each other when the time comes, all I want right now is some kind of direction as to what one to get! It's subjective I  know but at least there might be some pitfalls I am not aware of at the moment...thanks folks!!!

I know first hand what a helpful bunch you are here so here I go again looking for help! I have 2 programmes with which I want to use either to edit a photo.  I have photoshop as well and i want to add a christmas hat to  the 3 heads of my 3 boys in an existing pic  for a christmas pic. I can't take a pic now as the little fella has chicken pox and a pic is not suitable as a result! all help gratefully accepted!

Hi folks, I edit the local gaa website using Macromedia! All of a sudden now, I can't post photos up on the site. All I see when I publish the page with the newly  inserted pics ( copy and  pasted in) is a red x in the corner! Must be something basic I am doing wrong! Last time I put up pics was last week but now I am having no success at all. I did not change anything to the best of my knowledge! We will be getting a new site I would say but for the moment I want to  be able to put up pics of the small lads playing in a hurling league competition! thanks for any help you may give me, it's a pain in the h#le!!!

Herself has a business meeting  in Monte Carlo for a few days next month and we are toying with the idea of me going along! Is there anything to see or do there other than spend lots of money, I would say it's wild expensive!! Anyway I thought maybe someone here would have experience of the place..Thanks!!!

 Looking at the eviction live now on Sky news, must be great for the media to have all this going on live with  protestors and cops to film as they battle it out! A dissapointingly  low  amount of flaking going on! A few clips of lads being arrested and moved on!! Looks like they are waiting for something to happen before they properly move in! Only around 40 or 50 activists in the  camp now They are on now about the 100 children who will have to move out of the encampment! I mean it's their parents who made the decision to move illegally into Dale Farm in the first place isn't it??

I kid you not every time I switch on my laptop this voice comes on telling me how to delete cookies and how to delete browsing history, It is obviously some kind of setting  in my control panel but how the heck do I get rid of it?? It's bloody annoying as I have no idea how it started! Windows 7 is my operating system, thanks for all helpful and I am sure funny observations as well!!

I have to produce a programme for a match this coming weekend and I have a query. I want to produce the programme which is an A4 folded in 2,  sideways. So front page would have fixture, second page team 1, third page team 2 and back page sponsor information. How do I format this in word to print off like that? Thanks!!

hi folks, 2 questions about uploading a video to YouTube. Firstly I held the camera at  a right angle when I took the video. So when you play it, it is sideways, is there any way to rotate it around 90 degrees to upright?
Secondly  what are "tags" when you try to upload a video to You Tube? Your help  much appreciated!!!!!!

Hi folks, today started off well but now I am in deep depression. A couple of weeks ago I brought in an external drive to get looked at! The 2 lights that should have come on were not. Lo and behold today they told me that all the data was lost from the drive. "All" includes photographs from the last 5 years of my 3 boys!! The pics had been moved to the drive in the first place as I got my computer wiped/cleaned  last year and it was then that I moved all to the drive. I have not felt so low in a long while to be honest. The guy in the shop is trying one last thing, something about a plate or something but he says that this has little chance of success. Then maybe I could send it  to england where there are some experts appparantly!! PLease God that might work!!!

HI folks, I can't access my hotmail account as  this f**king Bing thing keeps cropping up! How the hell do I get rid of it? I can't access my inbox or send a mail or nothing as it keeps defaulting  back to this Bing Page!It is infuriating to say the least! Any help would be gratefully appreciated!
