Does this rule still exist??

It was used at the start of last season-but i havnt seen it since, despite players screaming in a Ref's face after a decision is given against their team.

I thought it was a great idea to bring this rule to Soccer

Played soccer for years now. Never ever seen it implimented by any referee.

Think it was a bit longer ago than last year - probably 4 years ago id have thought.
It isnt used anymore - should be theough judging by recent behaviour.

It isnt really an advantage the way it is in Rugby Union, as regards kicking penalties.

yeah doesn't realy have the same advantages in soccer. sometimes all it does is slow down the play. other times a free kick may be moved closer to the goal and makes it more difficult to score direct from the free kiick than further out.

You don't have to move it if you don't want too...I have seen this rule implemented this year its not a great advantage at all to be honest.
