What do we think of Sanchez

Seems to depend if Wenger will do business with Man Utd & Jose, if so he will be a Utd player before City.

Prefers a move to City but they arenít willing to pony up apparently

Manchester City have given the price they would be prepared to pay for Sanchez they won't rise that price as they don't have someone like Ed Woodward over their transfers.
They don't wanna raise the price cos they don't wanna further breach the FFP rules.   Doubt if the £35M itself is an issue since they just pump it out of the ground after all!

According to Mark Ogden who is a good source about United, City wonít pay £35m for a player with 6 months left on his contract and also wonít pay the agent fees, no surprise United are willing to pay the agent fees.

I would say that FFP is more accurate than Mark Ogden.  Given the money City have splashed out the past few years i struggle to see why they wouldn't spend an extra 10/15 million for a top player, especially when you look at thebig money they have spent on dung.

How on earth is Woodward still allowed to do the transfer business? Not a big fan of Sanchez his attitude stinks.

As far as I'm aware, towards the end of Fergie's reign, United lost out on the likes of Hazard due to a refusal to pay agents' fees. So no complaints here around paying them if it secures the top talent. Although the money the agents make obscene money from the transfers (and probably push their players out the door of some clubs to collect their fees), but until all the major clubs in Europe refuse to pay them, it will only lead to United losing out on top players.

It would be a mistake competitiveness with simple petulance. Best goal-scoring winger in the EPL.

Complete bollocks.  City could pay £100m for him in the same way youíd give your loose change to a street collector if they could get away with it.   FAir play is the only thing restricting them.  They would give every player £500k a week too if they could get away with it.

It would and if HM is going in the other direction it would good for him too as Wenger would get the best out of him.   Martial has to stay tho.  No way I would swap him for Sanchez.

Sure what's the point when Mourinho will make him defend when they play Liverpool/City.

United must be sick this evening they had the players to score against City but decided to defend instead. City's defence have never been good in Pep's time and are still not good it's amazing that teams think the best option is to sit back and try to counter them. You won't stop them scoring but you can definitely score more than them. Hopefully a few more teams wake up to it!

Before todays game Man City conceded just 13 goals in 22 games. Half of the goals conceded today was individuals erors which is a rare sight on this current good City defence.

It's easier to defend when you're not chasing the game.

It's also easier to defend when teams don't press you high and let a team like City have the ball. . . press their back 4 and they've been shown to be average!!

How many of City's goals caused by individual errors have been due to a high press? Most I would say but the reason for this is they are dodgy on the ball and attacking them is the best way to get any joy out of them. Holding your defensive shape to counter and letting them have the majority of the ball doesn't work!

Why would United fans be sick?  League leaders getting beaten by EPL no-hopers is always a plus.   ;)
