As always. Sad to see they are X Factor fodder.

Saw them live in 1988 in Wembley Arena, absolute bonkers, but I'd have to say the smaller venues with Bon Scott on vocals must have been a different world of madness.

Brick Tamlin

Cheryl whatshernamenow was amazing live last night on x factor.
Her vocal range is a thing of beauty.

Mimed and/or autotuned?

Not a tune but a whole EP.   I'd love have been at the concert where  Something  Happens recorded "I know Ray Harman".

This is not Sean Nós but this girl came from that tradition and her Aunts would have nurtured her and they would have. I remember Dolores singing in Cullen's, in Galway, back in the mid- 80s. Not an organised gig or anything. Cullen's long gone I d say. Savage snowy night and pissing against a wall out the back for toilet. Maybe 20 in the place.
Her husband John Faulkner also a top live performer. He came from an English folk/trad background. He s playing guitar and doing backing vocals in that video.
