There is a place in Monaghan makes sofas called Drumbriston furniture. Got one for the house from them and its really comfortable. Reasonable too which is important to me as I am a tight hoor.

Is a sofa like a couch?

I hope you do the sofa test before buying?

No ,not just sitting on it, but lifting one end up and seeing if there's any sort of twisting in the frame when you do so. A good solid frame should be good and heavy and feel pretty solid when you give it a bit of a lift up. cheap shitty ones will twist off the square when lifted like this.

I got some look from a sales rep when I did that in a showroom in Bangor.
