Not only was the Gen. Pinochet debacle an insult to democracy, now Gen. Musharraf of Pakistan is living "in exile" in Britain.  Where does the hypocrisy end?

You're absolutely right.

In fact, I'm going to complain to my Head of State right now:

Perhaps you could do the same from your end and between us we might get somewhere:
"If you come in here again, you'd better bring guns"
"We don't need guns"
"Yes you fuckin' do"

EG you might find that the Australian head of state would very probably be an Austalian President by now but for the question on becoming a Republic being carefully engineered by conservative politicians to weaken the Republican vote. Australians were given the option of a President electede by the politicians of Australia not the people, something even Republican campaigners were unhappy with.

How can you be proud that your head of state is also the head of state of so many other countries, when only Mozambique was not forced by the barrell of a gun o the blade of a sword. Even most of the U.K. can thank guns and swords for the Queen being its head of state. Surely you cannot think the British Empire, English and Scottish colonies have any justification or any moral standing.

By the way your bank note stunt is not inkeeping with your nomally well thought out response, maybe you cannot shield Britain on this one.
