For anyone that wants to know, the Kerry County Championship is at quarterfinal stage, with all 4 games this coming weekend 14/15 October:

Rathmore v Spa
East Kerry v St. Kieran's
Dingle v Templenoe
Mid Kerry v Na Gaeil

I predict wins for East Kerry, Dingle and Mid Kerry, with Rathmore/Spa too close to call.

If a Divisional team (East Kerry, St. Kieran's or Mid Kerry) win the County Championship, Dingle will represent Kerry in the Munster Club Championship as Dingle won the Senior Club Championship.

Here is where the remaining clubs finished in the 2023 County League:

Senior clubs:  Div 1 Dingle 5th, Rathmore 6th, Spa 8th.  Div 2 Na Gaeil 4th, Templenoe 5th.
Intermediate finalists: Milltown/Castlemaine 7th in Div 1, Fossa 2nd in Div 3.
Junior finalists: Ballymacelligott 4th in Div 1, Listowel Emmets 9th in Div 2.

Inter-county panel members, senior and U20, play no County League games with their respective clubs.

2023 All-Ireland series pairings:

Connacht v Munster
Leinster v Ulster

I believe Ulster's winners will play Britain's winners in the junior quarterfinal...although that needs to be confirmed by someone in the know.

The British Champions have to travel to Ulster this year for the Junior Twinning Final (All-Ireland 1/4 Final).

All Britain champions John Mitchels done well in 09 and 15, getting to the All Ireland Junior Club Final, only to lose on both occasions by a point to Kerry opposition. They won the Lancashire again there at the weekend.

Late rally by mid Kerry not enough. East Kerry 2-10 Mid Kerry 0-16. 4th senior title for them in just 5 years. The Clifford brothers add to their already big medal collection.

Must be sick of it at this stage. Still intermediate final to play with Fossa don't they?

Paudie said it himself in the post match interview on tg4. Winning with East kerry was very satisfying, gathering a team together for a couple of months and beating the best teams in the county.

But he said winning with the club was pure passion

It obviously wouldnt be the same but still great to be winning something at a high level. Probably means more to lads that are just maybe below county standard. Paudie probably trips over munster medals walking round the house lol

Suprise but not really a shock, saying this team was junior last year and rely alot on 3/4 players

Fossa a small Kerry club, have a great player and a once in a lifetime player - both brothers. Outside of that there would be nothing more to say this was a surprise result.

Milltown/Castlemaine won their 5th Intermediate title today. Fossa have never won the Intermediate. Fossa have only won one Junior premier - title 2022.

I don't know much about Hurling but it looked to me like Clonlara get through that games on pure luck; they didn't take advantage of the two extra men at all.

I only seen the period they were 2 men up so forgive my ignorance of the first 40 plus minutes of the game.

Couldn't understand why Kerry had a 2 week break after their county senior final while they only gave their Intermediate Champions a week to prepare for their provincial campaign and that is a massive factor in the result today. Also I'm pretty sure Cill Na Martra are a decent Division 1 side so they were no mugs.

Killmurry playing again in Munster Junior 2 years in a row is a joke like Glenullin in Ulster Intermediate. They ran Fossa close for about 40-45 mins in last years Munster Junior Final.

Just checked and yes Cill Ma Martra finished 5th in the Cork 1st Division this year so it seems Cork are copying their neighbours in pulling a fly one.

Wouldn't judge teams too strongly on league form with a lot of players missing for one reason or another.

Cork senior championship contain 12 teams. So not the same as Kerry and hasn't has Cill Ma Martra been playing at the intermediate grade in Cork since 2004?

Massive win for Castlehaven today in Limerick. Dingle possibly should have won it in both normal and extra time but The Haven ground it out. They had a bit more nous and hardened experience on Dingle I think.

On paper you would think St Brigids should win that semi final but Castlehaven will give them a good battle I predict.

Cill na Martra as expected won the intermediate easily.

Kilmurry were appalling in Junior final unfortunately and were too negative. They're capable of much better but on the day it was poor fare.
