Anyone recommend a good DVD ripper?

I'm a huge movie fan, and I love to buy DVD's, Blu Rays etc. I like to watch the extras and all that stuff when I'm done as I find alot of them really interesting.

BUT

I know that downloading is the future, and that x-box, Apple, etc. are well on the road already (along with manys an ould dodgy fella). I have two questions for those in the know:

Am I better off with a Hard drive and a media player, or something like apple TV?

If I were to download movies from the legitimate services like iTunes would I get all of the extras like commentaries, etc.

I'm looking for a good quality, free iDisc alternative.

Anybody have any recommendations?

I want to catch up on the first episode of Sherlock before tonight's episode starts.

Been thinking of starting to play golf, as when Im home pretty much everyone I know is out playing it and I never get to see anyone anymore.

I've always liked the idea of strolling off round a course for a day and getting away from it all.

Anyone have any recommendations as to equipment/ clubs needed for beginners, and what brands a beginner should look for.

Can anyone tell me what happens in the following case?

2People living together decide to break up. They want to sell their appartment but are in negative equity. Neither can really afford it alone.

If they sell what happens to the remaining debt? Does it get paid off over the life if the mortgage? Does it get refinanced to a shorter, killer loan?

What are the options open?

I AM FURIOUS!!!!

Just had the worst ever experience with a tradesman of any description. Was due to get Wooden floors down today in our appartment, the fellas were to arrive at 10 or 10.30 or so to do the job.

Instead I get a phonecall at 10 telling me the wood is out of stock and wont be in for a month. There are no similar woods in higher up ranges that we can use instead. He says he wont be able to get our wood for a month, and wont be able to come back to do the job again for a week. Its a joke.

All the carpets in the house are torn up bar one bedroom. All the carpets are dumped. All the furniture is on our bedroom, with one little avenue in and out of the bed.

I told him as far as i was concerned he could buy it retail and take the loss, because the stuff is piled to the ceiling in any number of places. He said he'd go look and call me back. No word back surprise surprise.

So, the moral of the story is never to have anything to do with Henry flooring.

Also, can anyone recommend a good, and reasonably priced wooden floor fitter?
