Just spent the last hour listening and watching Horslips videos on YouTube, what can i say but excellent. I really cant believe its took me this long to sit down and really listen to them.

Shamrock Shore, you're well named, that song is beautiful. Wish i could go on thursday, would be a great experience!

BTW, is the new best of called Treasury? i'm thinking of buying either it or all the back issues. What would you's recommend?

Where abouts do u get the 3G signal Minder? Are u in the south? I have yet to find anywhere in the north where there is a 3G signal, does anyone know why this is?

Secondly, my contract is due for renewal at the end of January and I'm going to upgrade, anyone have any reviews of the iPhone 3GS? I will more than likely go for this. Is there a charge for the handset? When I got my iPhone 3G in august 08 it was £99.

I am in Belfast, 3GS is free on 24 mth £44 per mth tariff, if you want the £34 per mth contract the handset is about £90.

If you have the 3G why are you upgrading to the 3GS, when the new software update came out I June the 3G does everything the 3GS does, bar video recording capability.

yeah got the new update couple of months ago, I didn't realise the only addition was the ability to take videos!

So if I was to keep my 3G iPhone I wonder what sort of contract they would offer if I stayed with them? Do they do any 12 months contracts if you hold onto your old handset?

Watched it on BBC (Ryle gives me a pain in my ryle Irish arse) and Butler and Mathews agreed it was the best refereeing performance of the Autumn series. So there y'are.

I don't agree with those who think there's too much kicking in the game. The more kicking the better in a game with "football" in its name, as far as I'm concerned. Especially since they've removed the stupidity that lets you gain from belting the ball off the field (except for penalties). Good positional kicking is interesting to watch, I think, though I don't get the persistent use of the box kick - concedes possession practically 100% of the time, for very little, if any, positional gain.

Interesting that George Hook gave him an awful bashing! A part from the glaring miss of the high tackle on Bowe and the offside that followed I didn't think he was too bad.

Did anyone hear Dermot Ahernes speech earlier regarding the Dublin abuse report? Extreme savaging of the catholic church in general relating to this matter and severely critical of the Garda for their role in not policing the matter appropriately. About time this matter and the animals that committed these henious crimes serve their time.

Can't see this happening anytime soon.

More than likely OM although he did insist that no matter how long ago these crimes were committed all possible measures will be made to bring them to book. I hope this is the case.
