Cant see how Donegal are being tipped for this one. Kildare pushed Derry aside and the Oakleafs were not to far away from taking Donegal in the Ulster Final.

Kildare have to much strength and not many Donegal players would be able to earn a White jersey

Just as well the trophy drawer was locked.

Yeah, that's where they keep the tae-bags.

General discussion / Boxing Training

Hi all, sorry if this has been covered before

Was just wondering what the story is with people wanting to train in boxing gyms but not actually part take in the boxing itself, so just for the fitness element

obviously this would not be in the more pro clubs

but i was just wondering is this frowned upon or is it welcome?

Many Thanks

Hurling Discussion / Re: DJ Carey or Henry?
December 01, 2009, 03:02:32 PM
DJ (by a whisker)

DJ did things that nobody else could do, over head flicks, unbelievably long and straight hand passes, and more of an eye for goal to take on defences and get goals against the odds

Henry does things that other players can do, only Henry does them far better than average. Also as the game has evolved yet again Henry is fitter than The DJ.

and when DJ was playing Kilkenny were not so far ahead of the chasing pack as they are now, DJ carried Kilkenny for many years and played in a lot closer fought games.
