Quote from: Look-Up! on Today at 07:19:18 AMTypical Utd. Will more than likely come out like men possessed against the gunners at the weekend.

I just cant see that backline and midfield matching up to Arsenal at the minute.

On the race for 4th.  Villa have 2 games left and I dont think that they win either of them (Liverpool H, Palace A). The hope is that Spurs go full on spursy.
With Fernandes, Scooby Doo and Rashford back, at home after that humiliation coupled with Arsenal being on edge anyway, I see drama and a real struggle and it would be just typical of Utd to play out of their skins and hand City the league.

I think Villa are safe. Spurs need 7 points and to correct a huge GD. Gunners would certainly love to see their north London rivals make a cut of it to get to CL. Means having to beat City.

"Scooby Doo" looks like somebody is a fan of that buck that makes money off United on youtube.

If Arsenal don't beat a United side by a bit to spare on Sunday with makeshift defence with loads of players starting whom have checked out because they know they won't be at the club next season then it will pretty much highlight why Its over 20 years since Arsenal won the league title.

Quote from: Captain Scarlet on Today at 04:30:33 PMAh Kildare have gone back and in those games we had Ben McCormack and Neil Flynn too. They got 16 points between them in the two games. Our subs v Louth looked like U16s coming in.

Glenn and the lads are just dug in now and have never sorted the fact that we can be walked through and we actually bottle ourselves up in the forwards.

I honestly still have no clue what style of play we are even trying.
Surely the Tailteann is the best place to test that. Kildare have nothing to lose.

Quote from: screenexile on Today at 02:11:22 PMOn the actual game I think it'll be a snoozefest much like Tyrone Donegal/Armagh Down. Armagh will have to play the same way they did against Down and hope that the forwards they have will play better than Donegal's. I think they just about have the better players but there will be vey little in it.

Bookies with a 1pt handicap aren't usually too far wrong!

This is what Donegal would love us to do. Play the game on their terms and reduce it to an arm wrestle that ends up as another game of nerves in the last 5 minutes since they are the masters at this type of game. If we are looking for a template then go back to the 2022 championship when we played them twice.

The first time we sat back and engaged in a defensive arm wrestle that ended in a comprehensive defeat. We drew them again in the qualifiers and went more front foot, high energy, gung ho type game and we inflicted a heavy defeat on them. The latter is the template for beating them on Sunday. Press all of their kick outs since they have an untested goalkeeper or even if Patton is fit to play he will not be in top shape. Kick plenty of ball inside as I think they are weak at defending one on one in their full back line. Plus we have the ball winning personnel to cause them trouble. If we play a hard running game of containment it plays to the strengths of Donegal and reduces the game to a long range point kicking contest and a game of nerve.

I could be absolutely wrong of course and I hope that Armagh play direct man to man and do inflict a heavy defeat on Donegal. If only that the game seemed to have moved on a bit to a more man to man style recently and Donegal have taken it right back to basics so I hope that style is beaten.

I just think that if Armagh had to play negatively against a very poor Down team they'll be primed for the same approach against a better version of it!

It wouldn't be the small section you think it is. I hear people talking about it now who never would mentioned immigration, What ever party put forward a very strong immigration policy going forward I think we be  surprised at the backing it get.

It honestly is grim reading jog2. There's a rabbit hole some people go down and entrench themselves in and then use examples like sexual assault etc as some kind of validation and victory in what their views are. Two shining examples of it here. Grim is the word for it.

What kind of person uses the word enjoy in relation to a story like that?

Well, a lot of people here are all for the cultural enrichment we get from open borders. Vile, I know, but there you have it...

Again, wee Billy big balls behind a hidden name... Grim carryon.
It's what's driven twitter etc into the sewers.
