Is he talking about having the club's Senior, Reserve, Minor, U16 and U14 teams all finishing/lying bottom of their leagues (with all youth sides in the lowest grades), failing to win a single championship game, and only achieving one win collectively among all five squads in competitive matches this year?

Because if it is, it's a weird aspiration to have.

Yeah but that one win was against Rock :-[

Aghyaran and Coalisland both dragged up to garvaghey for an u21 semi final on a few days notice. Disgraceful when you think the u21 season started at the end of January. Should have been red up months ago.

Disgraceful. Are the fixtures released for the competition? Grade 1 fixtures may not be released until Errigal seniors are beaten at whichever stage.

I'm pretty sure both teams received over 6 days notice.

Blame Dromore for the delay - their progress in Ulster severely delayed the competition. Then once County U20's started they had no chance.

incorrect fella, u21 league games were being played whilst dromore were playing in ulster.

Yes they were but Dromore hadn't played any of their games. Which means the CCC couldn't progress to the QF's etc.

For example, two of the Grade 1A Round 4 games were played on 17th February. But Dromore didn't play their R4 game against Killyclogher until the 22nd March - almost a month later due to their participation in Ulster.

Don't think that's the reason since Errigal have been knocked out of the u21 competition. Probably more to do with the fact galbally are still playing championship. Dungannon, carrickmore and Killyclogher are the other 3 teams and their senior seasons are more or less over.

That would have been played earlier but game couldnt be played because of the pitch i think it was. Killyclogher and Dromore were ready to play before that date but game was called off with both sets of players at the venue. Dromore rattled off all games in quick succession bar killyclogher which was out of there control. In fact they played 4 days after winning ulster.

Come at the king you best not miss.

But that game was still delayed because of Dromore being in Ulster. If Dromore hadn't been in Ulster then the group stage would have been finished by 24th February. Following from that the Quarters, Semis and Final could have been played before the start of the ACL on 31st March.

Worthless competition now. At a stage when it was run right and every club took it seriously you had some classic games. Personally I would do away with it
