Supermacs to be announced as sponsors of both the Galway hurlers (who they've been sponsoring since way back) and footballers this evening. Both to wear the exact same jersey as well for the first time in a long time. Presume it will be unveiled tonight as the footballers are meant to be wearing it against Derry next weekend.

Happy that Kildare have found a sponsor.

Very annoyed that the fcukwits in the Kildare County Board have added colours to what should be an all-white jersey to fit in with the sponsor's logo.

It makes no sense. Does any other team in GAA or any sport modify the colour of the jersey to match the sponsor's branding?

It's arguable that the dark green on the Kildare jersey came the shade used on the Tegral logo. Waterford incorporated the Waterford Co-op colours into their jerseys from 1996-2000:

Had that jersey myself and it was a quality one for the time that was in it!!

Anyone seen the new Down shirt that's rumoured to be imminent?

Jersey No 0, that's new.

Us Down lads are always ahead of the game.   :o

There was a lad wearing a 1 as well, stood together it made 2013. Lame but not as strange as it first appears.

I'd say they haven't done much so far anyway. Just back training there very recently. They had a long year last year and don't have a serious game in the championship until nearly the Leinster final next July. Footballers have apparently been training very hard alright. Whether it does them any good or not.

is that a Livestong wristband on MM?
and another thing why do Mcdonalds get such a hard time when they sponsor sporting event buts it seem like its natural for supermacs to do the same thing?

Our(St Mary's University, Strawberry Hill) new away jersey. Can't see it selling as many as the home jersey which also had the Buckfast sponsor but hopefully we'll get a few pound from it.

Really like the Meath and Kerry Paddys Day jersey, very inventive :-)

I just seen the 'Proud To Be' range, awful looking jerseys. Can't see who would spend £37.00 on that.
