A low hanging fruit competition for Liverpool.  Aston Villa looking a good bet to win the Europa Conference league and helps to have a manager with European winning pedigree.

Potential bottle job alert. Should be a big WhatsApp group setup  ;D

We are going to win it no problem, I've got my hopes up, it's a sure thing...BUT I will be so embarrassed if we don't win it...just think of all the gloating on here, especially as we were the favorites, and it will be so humiliating to lose a tournament we were favorites for, oh I shudder to think!

Quote from: quit yo jibbajabba on March 12, 2024, 04:17:22 PMYa Portugal makes sense. All in all seems to be great news Edwards well thought of. Time will tell (he's still not Klopp no matter how good)

Hopefully a combo of Edwards, Hughes and Alonso can fill the massive void

Quote from: markl121 on March 12, 2024, 02:38:36 PMMichael Edwards is back and wants to sign another club.... Who could we sign?

Reckon it will be a South American club...a feeder club

I heard someone mention a Portuguese team. I like that idea, then you get the best of both worlds...you've still got the south American link, easier to get work permits, player can acclimatize etc, but then you can also get first dibs on in the continent. The players Benfica, Porto and Sporting have sold in the last 10 years are insane.

Quote from: Hound on March 09, 2024, 11:07:21 AMI haven't watched any of the other 'overlap' thingys where Neville, Carra, Keano, Wright and Scott interview someone, but this one with Solskjaer is really good, especially if you are a United fan (it is 80 min long and I've no real clue what's going on at the beginning while they're eating, but it's good when the interview gets going).

I love that show. There was a fella from Belleek on the other week before who won a competition. Don't think Jill Scott brings much to the table

Watching the Bucks Lakers game and Lebron decked out in his Liverpool gear tonight!

🚨 Michael Edwards close to agreeing senior role with FSG, including oversight of Liverpool football ops. If he accepts, Richard Hughes set to join #LFC as sporting director. Not done but talks advancing + resolution expected early next week

Quote from: J70 on March 07, 2024, 08:40:28 PMSo who'll start at centre back Sunday if Konate is out?

Quansah or Gomez?

I'd be happy with both to fair, although having Gomez on the bench to cover 4 positions is nice. Konate not definitely ruled out according to Klopp this morning

Hindsight is a great thing and all but being in the Europa this year I think has actually benefitted us. The likes of Quansah, Kelleher, Gomez, Gravenberch, Gakpo, Tsimikas, Elliott etc have all got a lot of gametime because of it and they have been ready to step up when needed

Quote from: maldini on March 02, 2024, 10:14:49 PMGet Klopp the title on his swansong seems to be the message from PGMOL last few weeks
why didn't he give us a penalty a few minutes before then? as opposed to gambling on a 99th min winner

It was blatantly obvious we would score 2 odd mins later after giving Kelleher the ball...even after Forest won the ball back twice, gave away a throw and a corner...blatantly obvious!

Would he not be better just to keep the head down and let his performances and work do the talking? It's not like he's getting a hard time for nothing

Away to Forest will be tough without anyone coming back into the team.

If by some miracle we could get the below team out v City we would have a chance...

------Kelleher/Alisson
Bradley/Gomez, Konate, VVD, Robbo,
----------Endo-----------
-----Szob-----Mac Allister
Salah------Nunez-------Diaz
