Quote from: An Watcher on Today at 07:23:18 AMStumbled across this show Manifest on Netflix.  First few episodes not bad but seen there are over 50 of them.  Not sure whether to stick with it

I'm into the 2nd series and I'm still not sure where it's going. 1st series was good though. 3rd series not on netflix either

Was going to get into it but Lost really fecked me over with too many episodes and this is no where near as good in quality

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 25, 2024, 10:23:57 PMAt the end of the day, the GAA want a top of the range stadia, but pay £15million to built it. Would that wash if u wanted to built a house, but only pay 1/6 of the cost to build it. They have to build whatever can be built, with the money available. They seem to miss the point that their sheer lack of due diligence, back about 10yrs ago, is the main reason we in this shit show.
Well considering what the games raise in taxes in the local area, then yes. Govt give very little back on what it raises from GAA activities. I fail to see why an organisation must raise it all themselves, pay taxes, give employment for the area, yet get absolutely nothing back and the govt gets away scot free.

Sport infrastructure gives so much to an area. Governments regularly do recognise this and stump up too. As they should here. It'll pay itself back easily

I think its a real 50/50 game. Donegal did look impressive last week alright but I wouldn't exactly be going in fearing them. I had heard that Kilpatrick may be available which would be a real boost.

Tyrone by 2.

Quote from: An Watcher on Today at 10:05:29 AMFolks, honestly, do you think we have much if a chance on Sunday? I honestly don't think we have.  Obviously there is the McGuinness factor and they'll be buzzing after last week.
I know we played div 1 but we're very young and have plenty of injuries.  Donegal on the other hand have boys who have been around the block and will now be playing to a system.  After a number of years our boys don't seem to have any system
I think last week we had our best team out from the start and had very little to bring off the bench.  I would like to see maybe mcshane to start on Sunday so that a fresher set of legs coukd come on later to do damage.

Nah Donegals to lose, no point showing up to a hammering. Donegal way above us.

Hopefully they read this forum.

Pat Ryan under a bit of pressure this weekend

Can understand the level of criticism of the Manager but to call out two players who are just there because they are picked is a bit much.

Obviously no younger talent bursting down the door to take their place.

I am no fan of Cork either.

Is Harnedy in there also this year?

Cork are so inconsistent. What Cork will turn up?

No, no, no. You're only allowed say that about Galway. Other teams just face challenges of various severity.

Meath away tomorrow in Trim at 3pm. Hopefully some of the bench can get a run out here and give them championship game time.
