Wasnt that 4 hours of LIVE Milk Cup football absolutely riveting? Cant wait for the Irish League to start.

Aye, that whole Milk Cup/Irish League connection... :-\

I think the word you are looking for is soccer  ;)
Its a poorly attended sport in NI, but it gets the lions shre of the TV coverage.

You're kidding, right?  :D

What are you on about mate? We don't even get bloody highlights of the irish league for feck sake, all we get is a 5 minute stint of how Linfield did at 5 oclock on a saturday. Bloody cheek.  >:(

BBC NI and UTV are pathetic at local coverage, for all sports.

General discussion / Re: Rangers Fans At It Again
August 05, 2007, 09:26:34 PM
I'm a rangers fan, and to speak honestly, the guys who sing them songs are complete assholes. And to tell the truth, there are people in the stands who give off when such songs are sung, but, theres not much you can do.

Perhaps if we did get fined it would help us a bit.  :-\

This poll would have been better titled 'Do you think windsor park is still intimidating for catholics', to which the answer must be no. I won't deny it was years ago, but nowadays, if you find it intimidating, you're having a laugh. :)

Ahh Fcuk Off, you`ll be telling us that they dont sing GSTQ next or wave sectarian rags.
And next time use your own name  ;)

So we are sectarian for singing GTSQ?  :o

I've never seen a sectarian flag at windsor, only green and white ones or the northern ireland flag. ???

My nephew has confessed to this, he said he did it because the new kit was so hard to get in Newry and as Windsor is such a welcoming place he felt he wouldnt look right without the proper kit. He is currently learning the words of the billy boys and other such fine songs. He is turning his back on the GAA as he prefers the multicultural IFA. He is against The Maze and Gweyltah is his hero.

Apologies for replying to this so far on in the thread, but if you are implying that the billy boys or other sectarian shite is sung at Northern Ireland matches then you are very much mistaken. I just feel I should point this out before you make other uneducated allegations and look like a bigger fool. :)
