Daisy, Daisy give me your heart to do
I'm half crazy, hopeful in love with you
It won't be a stylish marriage
I can't afford the carriage
But you look sweet upon the street
On a bicycle built for two
Cover me in chocolate and feed me to the lesbians

When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

One of those names from Telly in the 80s like Hal Roach.
A Dub version of Sacha Distel minus the tan.
Would he have been the same vintage as Joe Dolan? Joe's stuff is still quite popular on YouTube

He had this 'window-cleaning' trademark move that I found a bit bizarre at the time ... now, it looks sensible (comparatively).
My hands are stained with thistle milk ...

Legendary Kerry Broadcaster Weeshie Fogarty.
This is really sad news. Since Micheal O'Muircheartaigh's retirement, Weeshie had been perhaps the greatest, most authentic GAA voice on the airwaves anywhere in Ireland.

Despite being very much a Kerry voice, he was known and loved far beyond there. He had such a wonderful, easy going broadcasting style that wasn't in any way feigned, it was just who he was. A true Kerry football man, but entirely comfortable discussing all sports.

Captain Obvious

Weeshie was one of the great GAA characters RIP.

bannside

Weeshie was a one off. A truly unforgettable character. Rest in peace.

seafoid

He really was a one off. Also one of the band of GAA prominents who if you closed your eyes had all the rhythms and sounds of Irish. Spillane and Gerlock have it as well. Jim Gavin wouldn't .
