Title: The inspiring story of Jamie Wall
Post by: Real Talker on July 11, 2017, 10:41:00 PM
Have posted a few podcasts on the board this year lads, know some of you have listened and enjoyed them with the likes of Kevin McManamon, Jamie Clarke, Brendan Maher, Noel Connors and others.

The latest episode is with Jamie Wall and can be listened to here: http://realtalks.ie/podcast/episode-10-jamie-wall/

A former underage player for Cork in both codes, Jamie was a prospect that had high hopes of representing his county for many years to come but back in 2014 his life changed after an infection resulted in the loss of power in his legs.

During this conversation, Jamie talks openly and honestly about the ups and downs of the last three years as he has had to adapt to life in a chair and rise to numerous challenges.

He is now currently enjoying an extended break in a new city while also managing a GAA team on the west coast of America – an opportunity that arose after he coached Mary I to the Fitzgibbon Cup earlier in 2017.

A really fascinating character.

A truly inspiring piece by Vincent Hogan on Jamie Wall and his achievements with Mary I and how he adapted his role within our game. The podcast is also well worth a listen to.
