Had the misfortune of (having to) watching two 'girlie' films at the weekend. Both complete tripe, but women seem to enjoy.

1) Because I Said So, with Diane Keaton. Awful tripe. Included a scene where a daughter tried to explain to her mother what an orgasm felt like.
2) Its Complicated, with Meryl Streep. Complete tripe.

From a television perspective, worst weekend ever.

I was made sit through that first one too - awful is not the word. It defied all logic.
I was working on the laptop but the crapness still managed to seep through to me

My favourite punk album is Wire's 'Pink Flag' - has really stood the test of time and worthy of a listen by anyone with an interest in rock music.

Class album - I love the reissue with "dot dash" on it as well - thought they removed it again from the last reissue

If the flag was put back up all year do you think these guys would stop. I reckon they are enjoying themselves now.

The 1st part of the superb adaptation of the Spies of Warsaw is being repeated tonight on BBC4  11.45pm.
It's a 2 part spy drama, with the 2nd part out on Wednesday evening.

Meant to catch it, but saw a few underwhelming reviews and it slipped my mind.

reports that Liverpool are trying to tempt Sneijder to Anfield.

Inter where open to 8m from gala - its wages that the issue would be

At this stage what we paid for him is academic - its gone needs to be got over.

What we would get in for him is the issue, and is he worth more to us than that value.
At this stage Id be looking to know who we would be getting in if we let him go before id be making a decision.

I'm sorry, but do people really think that busness people in China, Japan or even most of the USA make a distinction between nationalist areas, loyalist areas and Neverland? The impact of this carry-on will be negative for everyone in the North and even for the rest of us as well, as the world's business classes watch what, to them, is a bunch mediaeval Irish people acting Balkan only worse, throw the InvestNI and IDA proposals in the bin and call Poland.

I would actually say that most business people, or decision makers in business, do understand that the ROI is different to the NI from a jurisdictional perspective. What usually surprises them is that Belfast is on the same Island, and so close to Dublin.

They would certainly be aware of the corporation tax differences im sure....

I hope the alliance get a sympathy vote after the way they have been treated and they hold this seat.
I doubt it will happen

If you're a massive fan of the wire you should know well enough to avoid b'more!
