The question now is who do Mayo prefer in the final ? I think Tyrone might suit them better ?

Dissapointed with Kerry but better team won ,hope they can win it now

Well done Galway much the better team , great start from Galway from a kerry point of view very disappointing did not function at all. it should be a good final.

I am wondering how many u21 players that played today will featrure in the senior championship?

Great debate as usaual , for me it's very hard to call if you take Canavan,Gooch,Matt Conner as what they achieved with both their counties and their clubs. I wish the Gooch the best in his retirement and hope he can enjoy life after his inter county career

It will be a challenge for Kerry on Sunday no doubt but hopefully they will make a game of it d spite missing a few key players and some potentially good u21. Some of the comments on the the thread are very real but my experienc of living outside of kerry and Dublin is that , apart from Tyrone , Monaghan, Donegal and Kerry that teams (and interest amongst fans and clubs) has fallen away . outsiðe of Leinster (55 % of the population) amalgamations are fact of life so I would suggest focussing on the schools to develop interest in the game and skills in players. Really surprised recently to read that the number of clubs in Leinster outside of Dublin has dropped that for me is a big concern.

A damned frustrating day in Healy Park today, with possession and chances enough to take both points but, for whatever reason, failing to capitalise with all going a begging (but mostly into the keeper's hands or wide). Hope all you Mayo hardies made it home safely ;)

Still, something of a chance to rescue the latter half of the NFL campaign with a performance in Kerry, however unlikely that might appear to be right now; Kerry not going particularly well, and neither are we last two days out, and never an easy place to go with any realistic expectations unless firing fully on all cylinders. We'll just have to give it one hell of a lash. :)

Yes Fear both teams not going well compared to the dubs survival in division 1 would be ok and then time to championship. At this stage a league final versus the dubs is not a very attractive match up for either team

It was a tight game.Certainly not a 7 point game.
Sending off a joke but didn't affect the result.
Big difference was we never really looked like scoring a goal apart from when the Kerry keeper fell asleep and was blessed to clear off the line in the first half.
Well done Kerry. 3 in a row is a fair achievement

I agree the Galway minor team of 94 really drove on and delivered at senior leve

Fair result mighty come back from Mayo

Hoping for a great match tomorror.just watching up for the match one thing I agree is that the whole thing is so much more serious nowadays. Probably like most neutrals my head says Dublin but my heart says Mayo.

Don't believe either team named for tomorrow will start. Very surprised by the Kerry team no Darren O Sullivan. Not confident at all.

Sounds like a good idea but on big issue is the really poor participation levels by kids in commuter towns. This iniative will take time but  if you don't have the schools and parents involved it won't work. Another challenge is the proposed change to the soccer season
