RTE Arts are showing a programme about Ronnie tonight with contributions from Bono, Damien Dempsey, Christy Moore plus others.  This is the second show in recent months RTE have made about Ronnie, not to mention the Late Late shows backhanded tribute.  Great for fans of Ronnie, and fans of great music, but a bit worrying.  I hope he lives to 100!!  A true Irish Icon!

Good man 5 sams.  On a slightly related note.  The long awaited Pogues box set 'Look them straight in the eye and say Pogue Mahone' is coming out on 2 June.  5cd's, over 100 tracks of rarities, b-sides, demos etc. Strictly for fans only

Its on at 10.15 rte 1 hopefully the stream to it will be working, sometimes it can be dodgy or else only allows people in Ireland to watch it.
