Mick Dempsey would you leave it out, shows your age.
What does this mean?
I heard he's in line for the job and posted it here.
Don't attack the poster.

Looks an ok idea to me. Providing you can get promoted from the qualifier group.

The county board don't give a flying f**k.
Putting the minor championships on a knock out basis confirmed that.

I think Kilcavan are decent enough and could edge Graigue to this.
Both had good wins last night.

Billy Sheehan? If we paying that kind of bucks again, why not get someone decent? Get a Laois man in.
Anyway, I hear the job is already filled. Mick Dempsey in for a second term.

Well,  Creedon is now gone. So new thread.
Who do we want? Let's be realistic too.
I'd gamble on Chris Conway.

Semi Final
Emo/Courtwood/The Rock vs Joes/Barrowhouse
Port vs Strad
Port will murder SPG.
The other semi could be closer but ECR should edge it. There was only a kick of a ball between them last year at under 17.

Emo Courtwood 1-15 Ballyroan 0-8.
Something like that anyway. Big gulf in class. O'Flynn, Langford, Kinsella, Dunne all very good. Owens disappointing. Diarmuid Whelan lacked support for BA.

I expect Joseph's and Port to win tomorrow night.
Sarsfields v SPG I don't know enough about.
In the repeat of last year's final, Ballyroan Gaels beat Emo Courtwood Rock in the league but I think the result might be reversed tomorrow night. Could be a cracking game.

Hon ya girl Mary.
She's a dose that one but 100% right here. Plenty of other clubs had to play league finals without county players. Mountmellick shouldn't be any different.

Yes, I agree, it was good to see Mick Lawlor involved (and Eamon Delaney of Stradbally). I wonder would Mick Lawlor be interested in the position of Chairman? He could be a good one. He would have the interests of the county at heart anyway.
are you suggesting the current boss doesn't?  :)

It was disappointing to see Laois u16s getting a bad beating from Meath in the Gerry Reilly Cup at the weekend. A reflection on the under age coaching in the county again?

I thought this team was supposed to be fairly good.
think the 17s are better than the 16s. To be fair the 16s won their 2 previous games in that competition.
