The other semi could be closer but ECR should edge it. There was only a kick of a ball between them last year at under 17.

Something like that anyway. Big gulf in class. O'Flynn, Langford, Kinsella, Dunne all very good. Owens disappointing. Diarmuid Whelan lacked support for BA.

In the repeat of last year's final, Ballyroan Gaels beat Emo Courtwood Rock in the league but I think the result might be reversed tomorrow night. Could be a cracking game.

She's a dose that one but 100% right here. Plenty of other clubs had to play league finals without county players. Mountmellick shouldn't be any different.

Yes, I agree, it was good to see Mick Lawlor involved (and Eamon Delaney of Stradbally). I wonder would Mick Lawlor be interested in the position of Chairman? He could be a good one. He would have the interests of the county at heart anyway.

It was disappointing to see Laois u16s getting a bad beating from Meath in the Gerry Reilly Cup at the weekend. A reflection on the under age coaching in the county again?

I thought this team was supposed to be fairly good.

think the 17s are better than the 16s. To be fair the 16s won their 2 previous games in that competition.
