A lot of hoors on this board have a gripe against Clonoe!Whats the problem with a successful team;is it jealousy?

I love Clonoe's style of play- best team in Tyrone imo- but I have to admit the couple of posters on this with their complaining, yapping, crying and paranoia have me swaying towards routing for Ardboe in the Championship from here on in. Come on the Rossa.

Ardboe are welcome to you.... you would not not last long around it....

Been in Ardboe since 2008 working- lasted a right while.
indeed well done...

Can any of the Clonoe men fill me in?

Did Clonoe concede to Pomeroy cause they were playing Kildress in the last game and think that a win over them guarantees progression in U-21's?

no we had
reserve champ v omagh on friday
minor league v coalisland on sunday
Under 21 v coalisland tuesday
reserve/senior league friday
under 21 v pomeroy sunday
under 21 v killdress tuesday..

RESERVE COUNTY FINAL FRIDAY V Ardboe....

we could not field on sunday with holidays/injuries/rest
holiday makers home yesterday. .. if killdress was sunday and pomeroy was tuesday we have played pomeroy tuesday... sunday game was a step too far for us.... fielding on sunday would have meant we have been playing quite a lot of players 6/7 games in 14 days which we thought was too much.

The county board did a reasonable job with the fixtures up until about 4 weeks ago then they lost the plot and tried to squeeze in far too many games before the July break. Reserve championship on a Friday, Reserve and senior league on the Sunday then U21 match on the Tuesday night plus they are trying to run off minor league playoffs at the same time! Some players playing 3 or 4 games a week at 18 years of age! but there is no player burnout in Tyrone so its ok.

Is this not up to your senior manager to manage the welfare of the youngster? It's your club that is abusing the player not the CB.

BTW I am from a very small club but we manage our young ones that they are only playing parts in games during the minor season- whenever that is finished then they usually come into the adult fold.

so the clubs are abusing players by trying to forfill fixtures!!! Wise up 99 percent of the club's in Tyrone could not field under 21 and reserve and senior teams without using 18 year olda...

That's quite the stat

so your just going to be smart ass now...... I dont think itsis acceptable to condense res champ under21 champ and minor league and champ into a few weeks..... The overlap of players is the point I am making.... it is not correct to treat clubs like this. .... you must be on the ccc underlights...

Again, shocked by the yapping and uproar at playing games.

Some should be so lucky, there have been periods in the past where players have had no games for 6 to 7 weeks.  Now we have a scenario where people are complaining they have too many games to play  ::)

Give me games over training any day of the week and give me 5 games in 3 weeks as opposed to 5 games in 5 months.  People aren't happy unless they are complaining.
The county board will continue to prosper with or without Brendan Harpur and football will still go on. The fixtures in general have been really well organised by the CB this year and with regards to adult football, we have gotten to the July break with approx. half of the league played which is no mean feat considering you have to juggle what the county sides are doing.

If it was so easy, some of the fools on here could organise it.  Its a voluntary organisation lads, maybe some of the more vocal people on here might throw their hat into the ring for next season and give us a fixture schedule that is perfect  ::)

Not complaining about 5 games in three weeks complaining about 5games in 7 days!!!!!! 5 games in three weeks would be great....

I can see his point but in my opinion minor footballers should not be playing senior football at all.
there would be clubs who could not field senior/reserve teams with out minors...... in the last seven days alone clonoe have been fixed too play 3 under-21 fixtures 1 minor league plus reserve and senior league!!!!! Some players expected to play 5 games in that time it is not right for this to happen... errigal have as many players as most small clubs have  member's... all clubs need considered not just your own.....

Petey harte broke his wrist in the game last night

How could that have happened? I thought no one was allowed to go near him or put a tackle on him
Poor taste. None of that is the lads fault.
Now now mucker, hope that statement is tongue in cheek....

I see in the tyronegaa.ie page clone have conceded their u21 fixture to pomeroy. Could this be true?

Probably is the case. In the last 3 weeks we played 3 Reserve champ and 3 Under 21 champ along with after tonight 2 senior league and 2 reserve league we play Ardboe in reserve champ final ondon'tday if next week.... we have already qualified for under-21 play iff I presume. ... Gortin manager hit the nail on the head in todays gaelic life about club fixture makers in Tyrone they don't give a fiddlers.....

Regular football during the summer months is exactly what everyone has been crying out for.
regular football yes.... not sure if a match every other day is the fixture schedule we are crying out for...

Kildress got a two point win over Fr Rocks whilst resting a couple of the lads for senior league game tonight.

We don't get to play Fr Rocks as often these days but great to bate them on their home batch!  ;D
I really hope our boy's take into consideration Cookstown behaviour last year when they visit us on friday night!!!!!
Great to beat them anywhere could not beat them by enough.... would not mind they have not got the guts for the 50/50's

We beat coalisland by 7 both teams missing a few.....we where not great job done though..... Martin coney refereed it my god he is awful.... coalisland fullback mckernan who is good player committed at 12/13 fouls made 6 alone when yellow carded. .... one tackle alone on Darly Magee was veey dangerous and could have resulted in a bad injury..
