Cross' have won games well where Jamie has hardly scored. To keep him under control 2 or 3 men were used and he simply laid the ball off to the other forwards. Cross players run in and are positioned for this, Armagh players need to do likewise.

That certainly seems to be the case, the commentators remarked several times that if the other forwards had the work rate of Jamie then then Armagh would have been much further ahead.  This now beggers the question, is this likely to be the case or are they just going to land all the responsibility on Jamie's shoulders and expect him to run the show?  At club level, when Jamie was double marked, or has a sweeper in front of him, the lads were able to isolate say, Kyle Carragher or Oisin and they were able to gain good purchase from there.  If the same happens with Armagh, who do Armagh have to take the pressure off Jamie?  A FF line of Jamie, Forker and McParland has huge potential but they need to ensure that the other 2 are putting in the honest shift.

Jamie was well marshalled when Dermot Brady was moved onto him - but the damage was done by that stage.

BTW I see that, whatshisface, Nathan Carter is playing the Athletic Grounds next months. The announcer at half time was very funny. "I've been informed that tickets would be an ideal Mother's Day present".

Now Armagh lads - sorted. Mammies, wives and girlfriends could be in for a treat  ::)
