GAA Discussion / Sunday 20th August Kerry v Mayo
July 22, 2017, 05:47:44 PM
Must avoid red cards/injuries in second half and against Roscommon next sunday. Caff is a worry at full back, Would be worried if Kerry fully press clarke kickouts and must ensure referee protect Cillian and Keegan

GAA Discussion / Who Can stop Kerry now??
June 16, 2017, 02:00:07 PM
The last 7 days have been a great boost to Kerry football. Dublin are on the way down. Dermot Connolly suspended. Bernard Brogan, Paul Flynn, Paddy Andrews and Philip McMahon past their sell by date. The so called "great"young players haven't stepped up to the mark. We'are in disarray and over reliant on Andy and Cillian to do all the scoring, David Clarke kick outs are a worry, management worrying too much about opposition and not picking our strongest team.  Meanwhile are Kerry are into AI Quarter Final. They will beat Cork well enough playing in first gear. Mark Griffin and Tadgh Morley have resolved the central issues in defence. Jack Barry has added mobility around the while Kilcummin Kevin McCarthy has added steele to the half forward . Not forgetting the 2 best inside  forwards Paul Geaney and James Donoghue(finally over the injuries). Then you have Darran Sullivan, Jack Savage, Anthony Maher, Kieran Donaghy, Bryan Sheehan, Sean O'Shea, Killian Spillane, Gavin White, Johhny Buckley, Killian Young and Andrew Barry as options coming off the bench. Word is they are training twice a day to build up fitness levels for late August/September as fitness caught them last year. Who can stop Kerry winning All Ireland??

GAA Discussion / Kerry to halt Dubs unbeaten run
April 09, 2017, 02:05:50 PM
I think today we will see Kerry defeat the dubs. Jack Barry will start today and will cause havoc when runs at dubs backs. Kerry plan will be to split the dublin defence and I expect the kingdom boys to rack up at least 3 goals with Paul Geaney(best forward in country) like to score a goal or two. Kerry will be more hungrier and will have a referee who is not afraid to make calls. To me dublin look liked have peaked too early. Kerry have the more natural footballers and i expect them to win by around 4 points.

GAA Discussion / Jack O'Connor

Up there with Micko as the greatest Kerry manager delivering another Munster title tonight.  Kerry will beat galway handy enough in a couple weeks in AI semi final. Barry o'Sullivan, Jordan Kiely and Micheal Burns great subs to bring on. Jack O'Connor will have 3 minor and 1 u21 title when takover from Fitzy next season.

GAA Discussion / Mayo 2017 team
March 21, 2017, 05:46:48 PM
Time for Rochford to make a couple changes to team. For championship  would go with

David Clarke
Brendan Harrison
David Kenny
Keith Higgins
Paddy Durcan
Colm Boyle
Kevin McLoughlin
Stephen Coen
Diarmuid O'Connor
Fergal Boland
Cillian O'Connor
Conor O'Shea
Darragh Coen
Lee Keegan
Conor Loftus

Use Andy, Aidan & Seamie O'Shea, Caff, Dillon,Vaughan and Gibbons from bench. Start Lee inside and let him drift out if no ball coming in

GAA Discussion / Mayo to end Dublin unbeaten run
March 04, 2017, 12:20:33 AM
i think Dublin will fear us. I'm very fairly confident of a handy win. The referee kept the dubs in 2 games last year.  The dubs dont score goals anymore, Cillian and Andy arein top form. My prediction Mayo 3-15 dublin 0-12
