Morning Gents,
Hoping the more technical men of this board can help solve a slight problem.
Got sky broadband in, engineer at the house, 3 green lights - all great.....except the PC doesn't actually have wifi capability (....I know....) I only ever used an ethernet connection prior.
Need to get an adaptor, any recommendations? PC is fairly old, windows 7. The modem sits on the stairs, the PC will be upstairs - talking maybe 5 metres around the staircase through a door to the actual PC. It's not used for gaming or anything too stressful, the odd sneaky stream and general browsing but looking something simple.
Haven't seen this issue for years.
Something like this

Other option is to continue to use the Ethernet cable but extend it around the house using the below

Great stuff lads - I haven't a clue, thanks for this - sets me on the right track anyway.
PCs never had WiFi capability AFAIK
