I went on the big shot it's class. On the topic of some of the previous posts, Crazy Horse Too, up near the Stratosphere is worth a look as well

If you are going with the lads it will be fine, not a place for a romantic get away. The hotel is about 3 miles from the new strip where the Bellagio, Caesars Palace and the Venitan etc are located but there are plenty of taxi's to get you about. I see from a previous post you are travelling with a bunch of lads so you will have a great time no matter what part of Vegas you are in.

FL/MAYO - I took the wife to the resturaunt at the top of the stratosphere - she thought it was very romantic!
Across the street from the stratosphere is a place called the new frontier hotel/casino. One of the smaller ones on the strip. They have bikini bull riding however.
Also if you happen to end up in a place called the red rooster - wear verucca socks.
