I just wish one of them was with a different trainer. We could have them taking each other on at Kempton and Punchestown each year rather than avoiding each other all year until Cheltenham. We end up with too many Grade 1 staying chases turning into farcical mickee mouse contests. It's not good for racing IMO.

I've nothing against Nicholls personally and most trainers will look to avoid having their best horses run against each other (Aidan O'Brien an obvious exception). The way the RP/C4/RUK brown nose him would sicken one's hole though. The RP were reporting every time he broke wind in the weeks before Cheltenham.
