Anyone know anything about these new channels that have appeared on sky? One is channel 433 and the other 437. One of them is on a Monday and Tuesday night from 11pm to 5am in the morning. The other is on a Wednesday and Thursday night at the same times. The only thing they show is matches from this years all ireland football and hurling championship. Are they linked to setanta or whats the story? Bit strange that there schedule has nothing else on apart from this.

Sounds like a Setanta job alright. Very unclear so far. Its discussed in decent detail here - http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=1133115

It says that it's Longfoed v Kerry but it's definitely Down and Fermanagh in Brewster Park this year.

Watched the whole Kildare Offaly first round Leinster match again last night. Nice way to spend a night in!

The Derry Monaghan horror show is on again tonight. Must be showing the same games on a continous loop because they showed this last night as well.

There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

Was watching Cork Vs Tipp from last years Munster championship. They were using Setanta's coverage but in the top corner it was called Premier Sports. Then after there was an advert about Premier Sports showing 'Live GAA Every Week' in the 2010 season. Key word being LIVE!! Anyone know a bit more about this. Would be great to be able to watch games over here without forking out for it.

Setanta own the rights and its not like them to give anything away for nothing. I'd say if this gets going it will be a pay per view or subscription service. Then expect any remaining internet streams to be shut down (as they have been doing throughout the league) making it harder to watch live non-championship GAA in the UK.

At this stage, the sooner the entire Setanta operation goes to the wall, the better for sports fans. They offer nothing that wouldn't be provided easier, cheaper and better elsewhere.
