Good post unlaoised
talking to supporters after the game
we are all saying that our tackling and defending is very poor
i'm sure Sugrue know this,  when I see them new young Kerry defenders
I say why can't we defend like them

Looking at the Kildare v Meath  match programme
I see of the starting 15,   4 players came from Celbridge,
3 from Athy  and 3 from Johnstownbridge  [ and that not counting the other Cribbin player from J,town who is out injured.
that nearly 3/4 of the team from 3 clubs,

What does that say about us ?

The players are not good enough, As a team, we're not good enough. As a county, we're not good enough. Nothing we do in Laois right now is good enough. In my world, it's easier to admit that than to go on flogging the dead horse.

And that the truth,

In the modern game today, you need  POWER, PACE & PHYSICALITY,

but after today's game we have none of these!!

Just thinking back to last sunday it make me
so mad, no way should our county be in div 4.
Looking back we had 4 players sent off in our
last 4 league games,   14 against 15
plus one of our under 21 player got the line against louth
all under this management, I can't get my head around that,

We dont have the cash for a high profile appointment but im not sure that would make much of a difference anyways

Money won't solved our problem, bring in good coaches for our development squads, and I mean Good.

I have been saying it for years our players need
good COACHING in all grades but
it's just not happening.

Nice to win at home for a change,
If you strike your off, would players cop themselves on.

Same sh.it different circus.  Dreadful defending is shambolic.

The skill levels are just dreadful. Too many passengers that look way out of their depth in Division 3. The injured players will make things better but it is blatantly obvious that the quality of footballer we produce in the county these days is not good enough. It is a reflection of our underage teams and our club championship.
AGREE,     BEGINNING TO HAVE DOUBT ABOUT THIS MANAGER.

With offaly down to 13 players, you think we would score a few goals
No, same old story.

YES Giovanni, I remember that game against Donegal when MJ gave a exhibition off free taking from all
over the park that day, I heard that Jim McGuinness said he never saw anything like it.
thank MJ for a great memory.
