Quote from: Snapchap on May 09, 2024, 07:36:14 AMWell, truthsayer, you say the satanism is just young ones dressing up and having a but if craic, but it is more than that in Bambi Thug's case. She literally self-identifies as a witch.

Some lads here love to think they are awfully progressive and trigger happy smearing other people as narrow minded bigots. Whatever makes you feel good about yourselves. Personally, I think a grown adult actually believing herself to be a witch and running about in plastic horns, chrome nails and covered in body paint looks absolutely f**king ridiculous.

I saw some of the clips of "celebs" arriving at the met gala the other day in the most ridiculous outfits you could imagine. One was a woman wearing a dress that she was wrapped so tight in that she literally couldn't walk into the venue and had to be lifted and carried, upright, by her minders. I thought she looked f**king ridiculous but I suppose she's just really progressive and I'm a closed minded bigot.
I think its all very harmless and if she identifies as a witch so what? Its a bit daft but I doubt that she'll be able to cast spells on people or sacrifice babies to the dark side. We've had punk rockers and goths and all sorts... there's nowt as quare as folk! It's her perogative if she wants to look as u describe 'f*****g ridiculous'. Have you even seen the Bishops in their big hats and cloaks and men kneeling kissing the rings on their hands and them swinging them smoke insense things? Ridiculous?

Jaysis did you read anything I write at all? You're essentially making my argument right back to me. As I already said, yes she might look at me as looking ridiculous for wearing jeans and a
t-shirt and she'd be perfectly entitled to. Just as I can say she looks ridiculous to me.
Fair enough it is hard to make out what you're trying to say. Sounded like you're losing your sh*t bout some young one dresses as a witch or identifying as a witch..
I thought she identified a non binary . Witches are not non binary

If Israel get to the final it will be nuts. It would be easy enough to manipulate public voting, I presume.

Quote from: yellowcard on May 08, 2024, 09:57:31 PMMadrid never really look that impressive but they are the masters of knock out football and knowing how to win big games. Can't see Dortmund putting it up to them in the final either.
They are sickening. No wonder Franco loved them.

Quote from: weareros on May 07, 2024, 11:31:37 PMIt's a song that has grown on me. They are clearly very talented and it's nice to have something different. So I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Crown the Witch!
Calling her "they" is getting very dull. She is obviously very talented and doesn't need any artificial promotion.

Quote from: SouthDublinBro on May 06, 2024, 07:26:19 PMA lot of people owe the Galway goalie Gleeson an apology. His frees into the wind at the end won them that game. I remember he got a lot of stick over the past few years, notably from his own countymen.
Do they really? He was a calamity against Armagh goalkeeping more inclined with junior b than an all ireland quarter final.  He did well with his frees at weekend yes, but criticism after the Armagh game was fully warranted.
If Donegal win the Ulster Final , Armagh will meet Galway again.

The best of three!
May the best team win. It would be weird to have Galway, Armagh and Westmeath in the same group again.

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on May 07, 2024, 05:02:41 PMIt wouldn't be the small section you think it is. I hear people talking about it now who never would mentioned immigration, What ever party put forward a very strong immigration policy going forward I think we be  surprised at the backing it get.
The key issue isn't immigration. It's housing.

Quote from: Captain Scarlet on May 07, 2024, 04:30:33 PMAh Kildare have gone back and in those games we had Ben McCormack and Neil Flynn too. They got 16 points between them in the two games. Our subs v Louth looked like U16s coming in.

Glenn and the lads are just dug in now and have never sorted the fact that we can be walked through and we actually bottle ourselves up in the forwards.

I honestly still have no clue what style of play we are even trying.
Surely the Tailteann is the best place to test that. Kildare have nothing to lose.

Quote from: thejuice on May 06, 2024, 08:31:28 AMIt would be great to see a real minnow win this. Hopefully Wicklow can do it.

Not sure about Antrim, they haven't really taken off under Andy McEntee. They were good against us last year in the semi final but I thought he'd have them promoted in the league.
Kildare have the talent obviously so if they got the finger out would be strong but I can't see it. Outside that you'd imagine Down and Fermanagh as highest ranking teams would be favourites.

Interested to see how Wicklow and Sligo go as I'd say one of their managers will be in with us within the next couple of years.
Fermanagh have never even won a provincial title . The ultimate minnows.

Ahead of the event at Malmö Arena, fans have also been warned not to bring Palestinian flags or symbols to the event or bags and have been told that there will be "vigorous security checks".

The terrorist threat level is on four points out of five, but the Swedish Police Authority has said that this is not related to the contest.

There is not expected to be protests until later in the week, when Israel's Eden Golan performs Hurricane at the second semi-final on Thursday
