I have just learnt not to expect anything simple by Errigal. With men like Canavan, the Hartes, O'Roarke, and a rack of other men with valuable experience on the pitch and on the line, you'd think they can find someone within their own ranks that could step up?Quote from: Pearse Blue on December 02, 2019, 11:05:44 AMSeems stupid errigal paying anyone at all to manage them considering there resources. For a club to pay someone whilst having probably the greatest player to ever play the game at there club seems silly.Quote from: GetOverTheBar on December 02, 2019, 09:11:42 AM25k for one man? Seems like an awful amount of money. How much would the likes of McBride be getting in Errigal? And does it come with a championship clause?Quote from: Pearse Blue on December 02, 2019, 08:22:19 AMQuote from: GetOverTheBar on November 30, 2019, 03:11:58 PMHow much is serious money nowadays?
Donaghmore about to pay the man who just missed out on Clonoe job serious money....
Going rate for a D1 manager payment can be anything from 12k to 25k. Depending on club and manager involved.
Don't forget Enda McGinley. He took them to back to back minor championships in 17 and 18, surely the logical step would be for him to take the senior job and help bring these boys through. He managed Swatragh this year so time mustn't be an issue for him.
Enda McGinley lost a lot of credibility when he wrote that utter bollox in the IN about how young lads shouldn't be going anywhere over summer and instead should invest any spare time into their clubs. A man who immediately ran to other clubs to take their money for coaching when he'd finished playing. No chance of him coaching Errigal if they aren't paying him.
Not alone does he coach them for a small fortune but word on the street is he also picks up their physio bill...........
Some pound notes there in total
The only people it seems now that arn't getting paid is the players.
