The Healy-Raes arrive at the Dáil today.

If you have anger management issues, or taste, or a brain, it is probably better if you don't look.

Genuinely thought that was a spoof jesus wept

Danny looks like some boyo..

Tell me that is a set up, holy shit if it is not.

If I was a Beverly Hillbilly, I'd be offended.

I guess it is real. How stupid must Kerry people feel. Time for FG and FG to come together and send these clowns home.
Still cannot believe it. All that was missing was "we'll have two creameries at the cross"

Windmill abu

We will swap Ruth Patterson for one of the Healy Raes
Never underestimate the power of complaining

Don't know a wile pile about the Healy Raes, could some of you maybe give a synopsis of their shortcomings? My impression is that they indulge in a bit [lot lol]of parish pump politicking, would that be accurate? Or are there other issues for which they deserve derision?

They are sharp enough. MHR normally is well able to hold his own in public appearances. They are unashamedly parish pump politicians, and play on the 'Above in Dublin' theme to their benefit. But as parish pump politicians they work hard and are consummate pros.

They glory in the country bumpkin image, and use it to get people to underestimate them. That's my take on them..

I'd start with this fella:

http://www.rte.ie/news/2010/0517/131072-healyrae/

A friend of a colleague happened upon the above event and let's just say the word 'fight' would be misleading, a beating might be a better word.
