In my younger days if you pulled a lassie and you dropped the hand and got it slapped away she was a cathaholic, if you dropped the hand and she let you stay she was a prod, crude but true, them collegiate girls were a lot more ........shall we say  co-operative than thier convent counterparts!!!

Even if some bird with a crystal ball told me Ireland were gonna win back to back world cups and three euro championships in a row I'd swap it for 1 more Ulster and an All Ireland for Mnineachain, I'm away back to sleep now....... ::)

All this confusion around anthems/symbols should make us all come to the only true conclusion.  A united team. ::)

(for the owc lot)  Just imagine how many friendlies we would win if we could add Paul McShane and Andy Reid to our squad.  We'd be unstoppable.

I reckon Davis would be the only one anywhere near a United Ireland shirt (even though he probably wouldn't want to play for a United team). Everyone else wouldn't really cut it, I don't think. Even Healy, who looks a bit crap in the Premiership. Lafferty would be one for the future. Clingan wouldn't touch the u20's.

Virtually every player starting for Ireland would walk into the 6 county team.

And yet strangely some people think it would be a good idea to merge the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland teams? I can't see how the two arguments stand up.

BTW, David Healy has a better goal per game rate at international level than anyone in the ROI team. ;D

Another option for getting to the Scotland game is to fly to Newcastle ( cheap flight) , stay in hotel in Newcastle for fcuk all compared to Edinburugh prices, get the train up to Edinburugh , go to game , few pints after and get the 7:00pm train back to the Toon.

Have done this trip twice and the crack on the train on the way back to newcastle is savage!!

Cloudy bay is an overhyped , mid range kiwi wine. It is far from the best the kiwis produce and the prices they charge for it here is madness, it retails in NZ for somewhere in the region of €7 - €8 , no more.

Some tool of a wine importer obviously hired a pr company to organise a mass wankfest over Cloudy bay and its worked.

Villa Maria , Matu and Muddy Water would all be superior wins but don't have the profile that this pish does.

Luder , which airport are you flying into ? the new one, don muang or something like that or the old one ?

If you are flying into the old one its a handy enough spin into the city centre , theres a good left luggage at the airport to dump the bags at. Head for the Wat po temple and check out the buddas , try and get to see the floating market but it might be a bit early for all that , your kinda fucked with the time your arriving at been so early. Maybe go for a massage and ask them for a happy ending :P :P :P

Gerrard:  " He's a big f**king fruit and he played shite to night , is it true he's nailing your cousin Jamie?"

Cambell: " hold on lads , wait for me , I don't wanna go into the shower on me own "

Rallying in Ireland was great craic, but the Twin Cam Brigade have destroyed it for the genuine fans. Sadly they will be out in force next weekend and because of that so will the Gardai.
Indeed, mind you there's plenty of the f**kers around here, rally or no rally. Can hear them doing their thing on the lower main roads, and the tyre marks on the road tell their own story.

That said, it's great that such an event is within a short journey, and I'll probably take a look at one or two of the stages here.

Aye will prob go to a stage or two and hope to avoid the sabaru jacket wearing , honda civic/opel corsa/micra / bumble bee in a fanta can driving mob. Hopefully everyone keeps her between the ditches this weekend , FLAT OUT HI !!!

Just out of interest who did posters book their skiing through - tour operator like ski mcneill or do everything themselves online?
Thinking of going again after christmas and previously used a tour operator but have been advised by a few people to do it all indepeendently on line?
I'm heading to Poland @ end of Jan for a weeks skiing, booked it all thru interweb , fly b/fast to Krackow €65 ret , spend 1 night in Krackow then head for Tatra mountains, chalet for 6 costs €190 per person for a week , ski hire €50/week , lessons cost €20 per person for 1 on 1 lesson for 3 hours , beer costs about €1.50 a pint , can't wait !!
