Saka is now friends with Teddy, a little boy from the Isle of Wight who was just eight when he wrote a heartfelt note to Saka after the terrible racial abuse the Arsenal teenager had suffered after missing a penalty in the shootout in the final of the Euros against Italy in 2021. "I hope you are not sad any more," Teddy wrote to his hero. "If you was here with me I would buy you an ice cream from the ice cream van with my pocket money and then we would play football in the park and I would let you win."

Teddy put his pocket money into the envelope which he then posted to Arsenal. His family did not expect a reply but Saka wrote to Teddy. They swapped letters and video messages and Saka grins when I ask him about Teddy. He's come to two games and he's coming this weekend. So I'll see him again."

Gunnersaurus won't be happy today.

Hopefully Gunnersaurus picks the team the next day.. Havertz shite again, Arteta moving the whole team around to try and fit him in.

It's early days. Richarlison hasn't scored for Spurs yet either.

It'll be interesting to see how headstrong Arteta is now with Utd up next. A lot of noise wanting him to abandon his new system.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

He came under similar pressure with Aubamayang and he held his ground.

So, what do yiz make of the first four games?

I don't think they've been that great but 10 points from 12 are not to be sniffed at.

I understand Arteta trying something different because doing the same again (formation/tactics) won't get the better of Pep's side. I couldn't see any improvement in the new system and any ball over the top or on the break and Arsenal looked vulnerable.

Trossard and Smith Rowe must be pissed off a bit but you can't play them all, all of the time.

Vieira might have matured a bit but I wouldn't start him.

Prefer Gabriel in the back. Like Partey and White being on the field. Doesn't square up however with Saliba and Rice

Like Zinchencho on against the lesser teams - we're more creative when he has the ball

ONeill

10 games in - 7 wins and 3 draws.

Not 100% sure he knows his starting 11 but that doesn't seem to be an issue.

What do you think of the keeper?

Puckoon

Not convinced by Reya at all, and haven't seen anything that justifies the change that was made.

Arsenal very tidy and more solid across the midfield than in recent years - but lacking a plan B up front.

If they could somehow make a proper striker out of Super Eddie it would be good going.

mrdeeds

Jury out on Raya but not going to write him off yet.

Jim Bob

Arsenal haven't hit the heights of last year yet in terms of performances.

mrdeeds

No but think that's part of plan. Last year wasted too much energy in games so style slightly changed to be more controlled. Defensively much better.

ONeill

Have a ticket for the Brighton game on 17th Dec. What are the chances of another on the Ticket Exchange?

Did you get your ticket in the ballot?
