I coach our U10 team and there is a rule that a player that complains about the ref has to sit off the next quarter of the game.
I know its only U10 and non competitive but good practice.

That's good but what's the rule if a mentor complains to the ref during the game ?

also the Tyrone club scene is second to none  in the country and if players are not getting any football with the county then they'd obviously find it difficult to sit and watch their club every week. They d rather be playing !

Are Sinn Fein the new stoops?

The battle to win over the middle ground in an UI referendum is on, SF seem to be getting that, hope their die-hards also get that.
as much as I don't like seeing it, I can understand the need. Times have changed. Fair play to Michelle O'Neill.

Slow learners are Sinn Fein

Anyone any predictions on the future price of heating oil in the North over the next few months.
Currently sitting at approx £270 for 500l and was thinking of filling a couple of tanks with it in case it starts to rise again.

General discussion / Re: Car Problems!!
May 22, 2023, 11:29:27 PM
I ordered a part from a dealer for my car at the beginning of February. It was paid for at that time.
To date the part has still not arrived. 3.5 months later. They say they have not got a date of delivery yet.
Anyone know what my rights are in this case? Want to go in there and demand my money back but fear they ll give me some gib about not being able to refund

Had the misfortune of watchng bits of it over the last few weeks and its pure cringe, like a long goodbye for Tubridy. I'd imagine next week will be unbearable. He was good at doing the toyshow but overall not a natural interviewer. Kielty has the likeability factor but it remains to be seen how he gets on in a programme that definitely needs a change in format. And its also long past the point where they get the unavailability of RTE in the north issue sorted out.

Had the misfortune of watching bits of it ???  Explain that one ..

Solid enough looking  team but obvious  doubts about  m o Neill at chf. Could  see a change there before  throw  in.

And if there is no change will you come on here and say that you talk a load of rubble ?

A win for Everton takes them out of bottom 3 but helps LFC in the European chase.....decisions, decisions ....

Not one but 3 teams imploding to give pool a place in champ s league.
Man U.  Spurs and now Brighton

It's called playing the long game lads, I'd love to hear your alternative path and strategy to a united ireland.
Something very similar happened when the south declared themselves a republic.

Why didn't the republicans start to play the 'long game ' in the 60s if that was the way to go.
There'd be plenty alive today if they had
It wasn't the way to go

Was the way but all the Provos wanted to do was Kill Kill Kill

An innocent nationalist, targetted by loyalist paramilitaries, murdered by the British Army and the killers protected by the police.

As someone said on twitter today, this is state that the nationalist people were encouraged to accept by the political establishment in Dublin.

This is the state which is accepted by Sinn Fein

I'd disagree. Loved the match tonight Allen and yer lad. Brought me back to the 80s and Thornton, Taylor, Griffiths, Bould, Davis etc. Pure tactics and scraping a frame. There'll always be a White or Higgins but the standard is too high now. They wouldn't win a tournament today.

Not forgetting Doug Brocagh.   Didn't realise that he died in 2021
