Have an emailed document which im trying to open, its a .wps file. Im hopeless, any help from our resident nerds I mean computer whizzkids?

most versions of word will open it. save it somewhere and then drag it into word (if you're using windows) simplest way

I tried dragging it, and got the little icon on the word document. Now it said I have to convert it, so installing a converter. What kind of a file is a .wps file anyways, where does it come from?

It's a microsoft works file.
