Megan Fox has blown apart Hollywood's casting couch culture - insisting several leading film directors have tried to bed her since she found fame

The Transformers beauty has attended a number meetings with top moviemakers to discuss potential roles.

But she was shocked when they made moves on her during the interviews - and immediately turned them down.

Fox, who refuses to name names, tells GQ magazine, "Any casting couch s**t I've experienced has been since I've become famous. It's really so heartbreaking. Some of these people! Like Hollywood legends.

"You think you're going to meet them and you're so excited, like, 'I can't believe this person wants to have a conversation with me,' and you get there and you realise that's not what they want, at all. It's happened a lot this year actually."

And Fox also has a way of dealing with male co-stars who flirt with her - she delivers a damaging blow to their ego in front of the entire crew.

She says, "There are some guys, talking about actors who have been in the business for a while, who are very egocentric and have been able to sleep with a lot of girls for whatever reason, and because they don't know me they think I'm going to be this little cupcake, this Marilyn Monroe type who's going to bat my eyes and be like a receptacle for them.

"I just shut them down immediately, right in front of people. It's been so long since someone has told them no, they don't really know how to deal with it. Because of this non-reality they live in, they're f**ked up, psychologically."

Interesting read, still reckon id pull her 8).

Wife faces trial over 'noisy sex'

A woman accused of tormenting her neighbours with her noisy love-making has appeared in court.

Caroline Cartwright, 48, was remanded in custody until May 5 charged with three breaches of her Asbo in ten days.
Magistrates in Sunderland slapped her with a four-year order on April 17, banning her from "making excessive noise" anywhere in England.
But Houghton le Spring Magistrates' Court heard that police arrested her on April 18, April 22 and April 26 after neighbours complained she was flouting the ban with the help of husband Steve.

Prosecutor Claire Ward said there were complaints of early morning shouting, moaning, groaning and the sound of a bed banging against the wall. Cartwright was arrested on Sunday and charged with three counts of breaching her Asbo.
Cartwright, of Hall Road, Concord, Washington, Tyne and Wear, whose husband sat in the public gallery, elected trial by jury and her case will be transferred to Newcastle Crown Court.

A bail application from defence solicitor Peter Lothian was refused.
Cartwright was remanded in custody and ordered to appear via video link before Sunderland Magistrates' Court on May 5.
On April 17, she was convicted for five breaches of an abatement notice and fined a total of £515.

Magistrates also imposed the Asbo, banning her from making excessive noise, knocking, shouting, screaming or vocalisation that can be heard in neighbouring properties or outside the house, and playing loud music.

Fair play to her i say :D,

Should be a cracker, looking forward to it. Galway got over London fairly easily despite joyces criticism im sure they'll up it for ourselves, but Im confident they wont be at there best, based on there declining form during the NFL and last weekend.

For me I think Ross or Charlie can keep meehan  as quiet as possible but he'll still end up with at least 5 or 6 scores, Im worried about Ewing on Joyce. I think were better than 07 and definitly last yr, with a few new additions, costello will make his CSFC bow for us. Midfield Id hope TT will step up to his potential. FF i hope sweeney is fit and raring to go with marren alongside, I expect Coen to get the nod over Kelly, and Sean Davey to start HF and work his socks off. O Hara on the other wing. Confident enough but will be tight. At least we have a free taker this time.

Brehony, McPartland, Gaughan, and kelly gives us serious options in forwards and dont be suprised should one of them make the starting 15 with some if match fit definite starters.

In defence less options. Mcgovern hopefully back to form to oust McNamara unlikely but I would put him in.

Other big question with 2 Galway teams playing will the galway fans turn up this time?

From independant.ie

Carlow footballers kickstart their summer against Louth this afternoon, but they will take to the field more in hope than expectation.

Even though Louth are hardly one of the big names of the Leinster championship, a win for Carlow would be a shock start to the campaign.

Success, after all, is usually based on sound foundations and Carlow GAA lacks those. For much of this decade they have been split on several issues, their clubs have displayed a general apathy towards county teams while factions exist in almost every aspect of their set-up.

And things surely hit rock bottom in March 2007 when football manager Andy Shorthall was forced out and the board were pressurised into hunting for a sixth manager in six years. The players felt Shorthall was too low-profile, they kicked up a fuss and eventually he walked.

Maybe it was the players who needed to have a good look at themselves. Before and after Shorthall's tenure, scarcely a manager left the camp without criticising their commitment. But as is the case in most counties, the players' wishes prevailed.

Shorthall's departure didn't sort matters, though. Subsequently, there were many heated disputes between county board members and a group of supporters over attracting that high-profile name. The backers felt success would only follow if such a figure was appointed but the board insisted it wouldn't stand by while a chequebook was waved in the air to entice a new manager.

On the playing fields, things weren't much better. And that hasn't improved. This year, for example, they played Kildare in the Leinster U21 football quarter-final and were destroyed 4-13 to 0-6. After just 59 seconds, they trailed 2-0 to 0-0. Another spectacular failure.

At senior level, Luke Dempsey has had to plan without 10 of his best players in 2009, including the influential Thomas Walsh. Little wonder they only finished above Kilkenny and London in Division 4 of the league.

In hurling, although things are a little healthier, there are still problems. Last year, Jim Greene led them to the Christy Ring title, but even he left on bad terms, accusing the county board of lacking leadership.

Although they won four All-Ireland minor B hurling championships and reached the provincial final proper in 2006, they still failed to fulfill their quarter-final fixture against Dublin in last year's Leinster campaign.

Hurling continues to have its ups and downs. League results show that senior manager Kevin Ryan is continuing Greene's good work and he also doubles up as U21 boss. Earlier this year, he contacted 47 players for U21 trials. Only 18 showed up. Many of those asked had won minor medals just a short time ago but still they weren't interested in attending.

True, there has been the occasional high points in Carlow GAA -- winning that Christy Ring title, beating Offaly in the football championship and toppling Antrim in the hurling league this year -- but by and large they have been left behind in the province by the likes of Wicklow, Westmeath, Kildare and Laois.

And yet, hope still springs that they can finally achieve some steadiness and work on changing the psyche of young players -- starting in Parnell Park this afternoon.

County board chairman Pat Deering, who has one of the most difficult jobs in the GAA, feels they're finally finding their feet after a multitude of disputes and controversies.

Currently in his third year at the helm, Deering has been on the county's executive for nine years and is standing for Fine Gael in the forthcoming local elections. He is hopeful that the tide is turning in Carlow.

"We've had tough times, no doubt about that," he agreed. "But I feel things have stabilised a lot. The hand of friendship has been passed around and now we've some fruitful relationships that were not as healthy in the past.

"When you are winning Christy Ring titles and doing well in hurling, it takes a lot of pressure off. In hurling, the work that's gone into underage level here has been impressive. Our aim is to get to the Leinster senior championship some day soon. Kevin Ryan is doing a great job but what about the U21 lads who didn't bother turning up? Where do you go with the likes of them?"

In that regard, Deering warns that Carlow quickly need a change of mindset if they are to make any progress. Especially in football.

"There's actually not a great pool of footballing talent here and yet people still go on about our thriving club teams. I don't agree. Take Eire óg out of the equation in the 1990s and O'Hanrahans in more recent years and we've had no dominance really. And no disrespect, but that Eire óg team would be far superior to any of the teams around at the moment.

"And still we had players looking for a high-profile manager. They got their way a few years back when we were forced to get rid of Andy Shorthall because they wanted a big name. For a while, managers were coming and going but maybe the right people weren't looking at themselves. Now we have Luke in. He's here for the long haul. His squad are tight and unified."

What about the 10 players who didn't make themselves available to Dempsey?

"They just don't want to put in the commitment that's required," Deering says. "Maybe they want to play soccer or go out on a Saturday night but certainly that's the main problem here. We need everyone. But if you have to beg a player to play for his county . . . "

Carlow are hopeful that the arrival of the highly-regarded Mick Dempsey into a full-time role in the county will reap rewards. In conjunction with Carlow IT, Dempsey will work as a Games Manager for the county. He is well known in Carlow, having guided O'Hanrahan's to three senior football titles and a Leinster club title during his four-year tenure there.

"Mick will be in charge of underage progress, games structures and development squads and will co-ordinate all aspects of our performance," Deering says. "There's still a lot of apathy among clubs towards the county scene, Too many of them are little islands and isolated, but if people can't react to the appointment of someone like Michael Dempsey, then we're at nothing. There is a mindset in Carlow that we shouldn't worry about the county team. Gradually, we will change that."

In the meantime, they will continue to pump the resources in. A 40-acre GAA site in Fenagh is targeted for a Centre of Excellence, while Deering rejects any suggestion that the board don't look after its players and points out that last year they spent €750,000 on running the show. "We look after players as well as anyone else, maybe even better," he suggests. "But we realise that spending so much is simply not sustainable and we'll have to cut back substantially."

Significantly, the board's once-strained relationship with supporters' group, Friends of Carlow, is stronger too.

"They contributed €100,000 to our accounts last year but again they'll have to reduce that this year with the recession. This year their remit is to focus on helping the juvenile scene and our development work."

But a win today is unlikely. They're 4/1 to beat Louth. "We have nothing to lose and everything to gain," Deering says. "I think we can get some good results in this year's championship and our hurlers are on the up too. If we can get to the next generation quickly and educate them the way we want, then maybe we can see some real progress in the years ahead. It will take time but we're in it for the long haul."

My thoughts:
I never really understood why Carlow club scene thrived while there county scene capitulated year in year out, Ive always been curious as to why this is the case, Club rivalry ok every county has that but at the detriment of the county why? Commitment why would carlows 10 best players not want to represent there county, play in croke, isnt that better than playing soccer or going out on sat night? Its a no brainer.

I wouldnt be Luke Dempsey biggest fan but id love to see Carlow unite themselves and do well. As for the lad Walsh its beyond words what I think of what he did but sure weve similiar traitors in Sligo so id have alot of sympathy for Carlow there.

Sligo hurlers won the overall Sports Stars of 2008 Award announced at the Sligo Weekender Sports awards at the Clarion Hotel on Friday night. They had already picked up the team of the year when they were presented with the overall award by special guest Ken Doherty.

Keith Raymond starts in midfield for the Connacht Inter-pro team v Munster today Saturday in Pearse Stadium, Galway. Best of luck to keith who was awarded hurler of the year at the Sligo Sports Awards.

I know Seevers has been on the panel and played but this is a massive compliment in such a primary position on the team, no doubt well deserved and delighted for Keith. Hope it goes well for him and I see him out here in UAE for the final :). Best of luck Connacht. 2009 has started great for the YEATS county, long may it continue ;D.

Sligo County Board have ratified Kevin Walsh (Galway) as their new Senior Football Manager with Fergal O' Flaherty ratified as U 21 Team Manager for his second term.

Galway's Kevin Walsh was put forward by a selection Committee (John Murphy, Joe Taaffe, Seamus Cronin, and Dessie Sloyan) to the executive, who then nominated him at the County Board Meeting.  He was unanimously accepted.

Kevin, who had an outstanding career at midfield for Galway winning two senior All-Irelands and one minor medal (1986) is new to the Senior County Management scene. He brings vast experience of competing and winning at the highest level.

This also sees Sligo County Board following a recent trend of appointing young dynamic people to manage the county team.

Kevin has outlined his selectors to the County Board and they will be:- Paul Taylor, Paul Durcan, and Dessie Sloyan.  Three outstanding performers for Sligo over the last two decades and they in turn will bring great enthusiasm to the job.  Their involvement will inspire all young emerging talent and established players to unite and re assert Sligo's position in Connacht Football.

Sligo begin the playing season with the FBD League early in January and commence the league campaign with a home fixture against Kilkenny.

The County Board now urge all clubs to support this new, exciting and young management team.

Fergal O' Flaherty was reappointed U-21 Manager for 2009.  After a decent showing in charge last year the selection panel felt he should continue for a second term and the County Board ratified this appointment.

Dessie Sloyan will act as one of his selectors and he will complete his back up team over the next week.

Dessie will be the link between the Senior and U-21 Panels.

The County Board are excited by both appointments and are looking forward to competitions in 2009

GAA Discussion / Football a health hazard
June 01, 2008, 07:32:46 PM
Ya I know we all know this, It does affect your health and emotional and mental wellbeing. Im a sligo and leeds fan and it can be tough to take some of the knocks of sport and there are others worse off. But the HIGHS are worth it. But heres proof in the below article and a few interest slants on it:

PARIS (AFP) - Beneath football's image of fitness and heartiness lies a less healthy reality, say medical investigators, who have found that for fragile spectators, a match can quite literally be a sudden-death playoff.

Doctors eyeing the Euro 2008 are bracing for a rise in emergency calls, cardiac arrests, wife beatings, punchups, drunken driving, depression, self-harm and even suicide.

"The more important the game, the greater the risk" says Ute Wilbert-Lampen, an investigator at the Munich University Clinic in southern Germany.

During the 2006 World Cup, her team found, cardiac arrests and palpitations among men in the greater Munich area more than tripled compared to the same period over three preceding areas.

Among women, the rate was double.

The number of cases surged when Germany played and peaked massively in the quarter-finals against Argentina, which the national team won, and in the semis against Italy, which it lost.

Both games were decided after extra time and the penalty shootout, which previous research has already fingered as a risk.

The figures are so alarming that some experts urge people with a potential risk to take stress-receptor blockers, aspirin and statins, or even consider behaviour therapy to calm down before hitting the sofa.

"We advise our patients not to watch important matches after a heart attack or if they are considered to be a high cardiac risk," said Herve Douard, a cardiologist at the University Hospital Clinic in Bordeaux.

Researchers at the University of Birmingham, in central England, suggested in all seriousness that penalty shootouts be scrapped "on public health grounds" after discovering that the number of heart attacks in Britain rose by 25 percent on the day England lost to Argentina on kicks in the 1998 World Cup.

Another threat to life and limb is from domestic violence.

According to figures by Britain's Home Office, cases of wife beatings in England and Wales surged on the day of each of England's five games in the 2006 tournament, with a high of 31 percent over the normal rate.

Counter-intuitively, football-related violence seems to rise when a team wins, rather than when it loses, says Vas Sivarajasingam of Cardiff University Wales, who looked at the city's emergency room admissions when the national side played.

Every big sporting fiesta brings with it a rise in beer-fuelled car smashups, of accidents or acts of self-harm involving high-spirited or depressed fans. In February 2005, a celebrating Welsh fan cut off his own testicles to fulfill a pledge after his side beat England in the Six Nations rugby tournament.

Then there are the longer-term health problems of the footy fan's couch-potato lifestyle: non-stop boozing and snacking on starchy, fatty, salty or sweet foods.

Alcoholism, obesity, diabetes and heart disease are entrenched problems in Europe, and Jeff Collin, a University of Edinburgh lecturer, blasts UEFA for accepting sponsorship from Carlsberg, Coca-Cola and McDonald's, who sell beer, soda and hamburgers.

"It's fundamentally inappropriate for such events to be used primarily as a means of advertising unhealthy products, particularly when you take into account the scale of public subsidy that's typically associated with them," he said.

"Using public money to advertise McDonald's doesn't seem a particularly appropriate stategy for promoting public health."

GAA Discussion / O Hara Comments
May 09, 2008, 03:55:48 PM
From Sligogaa.ie. Can someone explain to me what sligofans O Hara be's hanging around before games or knows?. Because Last yr alot of SLIGOFANS did believe we would win connaght and few of us put our money where our mouth is at 16/1. The opposite of what hes saying. We are all not the same. Shouldnt tarnish us all with the same brush. I dont buy into that pyschology because I dont live in the past.  Well all I can say is when I head into mchale I certainly WONT be shitting myself or thinking were we are gonna lose. I always believe we will win because on any day we can play well and win.

O'Hara confident of retaining title
Thursday, May 8th.

Eamonn O'Hara knows that Sligo will enter the Connacht Football Championship as underdogs to retain their crown, yet he believes they are capable of doing it.

The midfield powerhouse was delighted that The Yeats County were able to clinch the trophy last year and wants to repeat the same feat again this year.

Even with the odds stacked against them, O'Hara reckons that the current Sligo team can become a force within their province as they attempt to morph into a side that will erect a challenge each year.

"Every year Mayo and Galway believe Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon aren't good enough," O'Hara is quoted as saying in the Irish Mirror.

"I'm not saying that's a bad thing, that's just the way it has been for years.

"With the amount of Connacht and All-Ireland titles Mayo and Galway have won, they look down on us.

"Supporters buy into that sort of psychology, sure Sligo people didn't believe we could win Connacht last year but we did it and I'm sure it will be the same this year.

"Deep down we genuinely believe we're good enough to get to another Connacht final and win it when we get there."

Heading over to Leeds for the play off 1st leg. Being to Elland rd lots of times on my own before but never stayed in leeds. A few of my mates have finally come out of the closet(they always were Leeds fans) and we are heading over for few nights. 15pts deduction proved too much to bear.

Obviously Ive heard of the majestic because of the trial yrs ago. Any other good spots? Best place for pulling good looking slags and stripclubs 8)? Are they open monday tuesday night? Our only plans are watch leeds win and then get our holes without paying for it ;). Any bother getting into student niteclubs without student id?

I have a spare ticket at face value aswell if anyones interested. Looks likely to sell out.

Just to note not expecting a huge reply count but any help will be apprecited. Seen a good reply count on Newcastle thread.

First game played last saturday, we play ross in the hyde on this sat night 7pm:

A terrible Connacht MFC clash in Carrick-on-Shannon saw Roscommon beat hosts Leitrim by 1-4 to 0-4.

Saturday evening's match was a poor advertisement for Connacht football and will do little to lift the cloud of despondency hovering over the province at the moment.

Brian Murtagh's ninth-minute penalty was the different between the sides at the final whistle, but there were two other missed penalties inside the hour.

Leitrim scored three points in the last ten minutes, while the winners failed to raise a single flag from the 35th minute on.

Down beatin limerick is a good result for us and I was expecting it. Now if we beat Longford by 3pts(no easy task) but possible and limerick and leitrim dont draw we stay up.

I spoke to a sligo selector the other day. I asked a few straight questions and wasnt impressed with the replys I got. I will review my post before posting and ask others aswell because I dont want to antagonise anyone.

Big week for Sligo, devasted if were back in Div 4 when only 10 people turn up to watch. Im not 100% sure but does that mean TM cup apply to this yr or next and if we lose to Mayo are we in it if relegated???

GAA Discussion / Sligo V Wexford NFL Div3
February 12, 2008, 05:31:00 PM
O hara is suspended and is a big loss but we arent the one man team outsiders think we are.

Who would the Sligo lads on this board pick at Centre half back? Everyone seems to have the same opinion regarding mcnamara there. That he should be put up in the forwards. Id go for EGAN but he is injured. Does anyone know how long he is out for and how long mcpartland and t taylor are out too?

Wexford suprised me with the win over longford and 3-8 is a good score. Our full back line is our strongest line so not too worried about Forde. Beirne has done well at midfield and 2 weeks more training for quinn should help his fitness . Cawley has done very well in the forwards too.

I think we will win and if we get near to the level of down game 1st half we will be very impressive but id just like to never go through that 2nd experience ever again.

Congratulations to McNamara on winning this award. I personally think it is undeserved. Ross Donovan, Charlie Harrison or Mcguire are far more worthy winners. I have nothing against mcnamara sound lad but to me hes not good enough at Centre half back. I was at the sligo fermanagh u21 game today and my clubmates couldnt believe it. One of the lads told me then that michael o muirhertagh had him at chb in his allstar team. Him getting a nomination was enough for me to discredit the selection of these awards. One pass and one very important point in csfc final seems to able to hide is ineffectiveness in defending at chb. He was non existant in the league, against ny, ros and cork and 2 moments of effectiveness against Galway seems to cloud everyone judgement. I will say alot of sligo people at the game today agreed with me. I met mcnamara at our centenary club celebrations. I spoke to him at length about the connaght final. He was honest enough to say to me that before the sligo goal which his great pass started the move he last pass was out over the sideline. He also said he preferred playing forwards. I did say I thought he was better attacker than defender. With the ball he is decent but without it very poor. Back in 2004 he was our best forward in my opinion. Why do Sligo management continue to pick him chb? What do the Sligo posters on this board make of it...can anyone tell why hes picked chb? I just dont understand.. There is one major difference here with me and any media pundits in that the only sligo games they saw last yr was 2 whereas Im basing my opinion on 15 odd games.

Sligo beat fermanagh u21s by a point. We are very average. P wilson and gilmartin did very well at midfield but only scanlon and no10 were any good in attack. D Kelly was very poor in attack.

GAA Discussion / DOWN V SLIGO DIV 3 thread
January 29, 2008, 07:23:42 PM
Firstly I need directions to park esler coming from Sligo. Im from North SLIGO so will going through castleblayney belleek then newry. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tough game for us. We are not a league team. Last yr I was very frustrated watching us. I think we will struggle. Although I didnt rate Down (up till last wend) as they have been poor last few yrs I watched mckenna cup and they looked good. A way ahead of us in fitness and sharpness from what I could see compared to our FBD league performances. The half forward no 12 impressed me. Defence held bradley quiet and look physical enough side. Down for me are the favourites. Doyle will have the freedom of the pitch if mcnamara starts chb for us. Egan is injured and s davey is retired so 2 big losses already for us. Coulter will be back for down but may be on bench. This will be a seriously tough div with any of the 8 teams could get relegated. Hope a decent support turns up for Sligo.  Although aertel have it down for sunday at 2.30 I presume thats a mistake and its under lights at 7.00 on sat.. could be a long dark drive home but hope not.

Leitrim v NY
Sligo v London
Galway v Roscommon

LM/NY v Galway/Ros

Sligo/London v Mayo

As stated already Mayo v Sligo will be in Castlebar. We lost by 2 pts in markievicz in 2003. It would of been a home draw if we got anyone else but Im happy enough. We will as usual be written off and be underdogs but to me this is an exciting draw. A full house in castlebar us as defending champions into the lions den. Great stuff. The winner of this game will win connaught in my opinion. I seen all 3 teams on the other last yr and wasnt impressed. The great thing last yr is we didnt play near to our potential and still won so next yr I expect a big improvement. Hopefully we'll get the right manager to get the best of our squad.

Well done to toulestrane on great performance yday.

GAA Discussion / Sligo 07 review

Sligo 07 Report card
It all started against Galway in FBD league in tubber. Good display and then to GMIT where we won comfortably. Beat letrim in the park with a great goal from p gallagher.

Then to the league. Tipp game, we were poor but sweeney saved us when we were 4pts down. Showed character. Waterford game, did well with 14 men. Cavan game, hughes the ref enough said. Meath game, very flat and never got going. Wexford game I wasnt at. Antrim game, played poor but came good in the last 10 mins. Wicklow game, great performance outclassed them and played best stuff of the league. Overall was disappointed with league. The panel underperformed.

CSFC NY easy win,

Ros game, played poor for 50 mins then woke up and played good stuff outscoring them 9-1 in last 20 mins.

Connaght final Highlight of the year. Still in my opinion didnt play to our potential but backs saved us and we won.

Cork game, well what can I say. It felt weird in the sense of anti climax. Players just didnt perform. Full back line great again and egan very good. J davey very good when moved half forward. Itd be easy to have a go at the lads but I wont do that. For whatever reason the looked really tired and holding back. The forwards lacked penetration.

We won Connaght so fair play.

Tommy Breheny: I wouldnt say he is a good manager but he is a lucky one. Some of yee will think thats a crazy statement. Only for peter ford we would not be connaght champions and heres why. J Davey was getting roasted by n joyce and ford switched him off davey in to harrison and also taking off meehan saved us. 50+ mins yday for a change??????????? too slow on the line. Too indecisive. That is true and constructive. Something he needs to work on to make him a better manager.

I watched the warm up very closely yday and you could see who was up for it and not. Some of the players looked tired and lazy where as some looked sharp and fit. McGarty was flying, looked in great shape. I know its irrelavant but if I was manager these are things Id look out for because its all on the day.

Pat mceamney did us no favours yday. Was far too quick to award cork soft frees all day and we have to be battered to get one. That meant our defenders couldnt create any intensity in the tackle but cork could. A clear penalty aswell not given. S davey was clearly pulled back and mcemamy gave free for keeper picking ball on ground all the above is true.

We beat ourselves with easy wides and underperforming. Missed 3 goal chances in first 10 mins.

But anyways well done on winning connaght. Hopefully we'll learn and find some new talent and maybe play to our potential someday. Hopefully sloyan will get fit because hes strong and accurate from long range. All year we never played 70mins and never really played to our potential. McNamara isnt a chb and Jdavey is not a defender. Push them to forwards bring in martyn and phillips and I'll guarntee we'd better.

When you lose sometimes its a blessing in disguise. You learn alot more about the team. lets hope we can retain the nestor next year. We play london in qtrs and are guarnteed home draw if we get ros, leitrim or galway in semi. So great chance to get to a connaght final again. After the league this yr I didnt think in my wildest dreams we'd win connaght and I probably did get a bit carried away with thinking we'd win all ireland but one has to believe. Kinda dissapointed with our exit. Way too tame. But there is always hope and this team is young and a bright future lies ahead.
