Its still the most enjoyable league to watch in my opinion, highest skill level, even among lower placed teams.

Awful what happened to Puerta the other night. Passed away yesterday.

Without doubt the most exciting league.

Valencia have to be closer this yr, they have added to a previously strong squad but I'm unsure if they have right manager in Quiqe Sanchez Flores. Lost 3-0 on Villareal the other night and ended with 9 men. Rossi scored a pen, think he'll do well.

Villareal to be the suprise package of the season.

Cant wait to see Barca with all there new signings.  Has there ever been such a strike force assembled before now?

Is Rossi on loan or was he sold to Valencia?

Its going to be very close again this year. Seville and Valencia will go close although the champions league campaign could stretch Sevilles squad. The Alves saga is hurting them too.
Atletico Madrid have used the Torres money well and Zaragoza despite losing Milito will challenge the top 4.

Saying that the results of the 1st week were weird to say the least.. 3 promoted teams all won.

Going against the grain a bit I reckon Madrid could struggle.. Barca handed them the title last year, they have had a poor pre season and their quest to please the fans playing attractive football could cost them dearly.

Sold to Villareal for £6-8m to replace to Forlan who went to A Madrid to replace F Torres.

QuoteAwful what happened to Puerta the other night.

I saw him collapsing and then coming off and thought he looked OK, if a little 'shook'.  Was shocked to hear he'd died later, at the age of 22.
My hands are stained with thistle milk ...
