Are you sure? I've heard Pairc Ui Chaoimh called the 'Park'. Killarney is usually called 'above in Killarney'.

Lighten up lads... could be worse. We could have an O2 or an Aviva on our hands. In 5 years time we could be calling it the 'McDonalds' (or 'the Macker' if ye prefer)

Really dont mind Croker, it's affectionate a bit like Celtic Park in Glasgow referred to as Paradise.Much better than any commercial name

I don't like the use of "Croker".  I once almost slapped a tube from the St Paul's club who asked me was I going to "Casey" the following Sunday.

Are you sure? I've heard Pairc Ui Chaoimh called the 'Park'. Killarney is usually called 'above in Killarney'.

The locals call Fitzgerald Stadium "The Park". Locals mean all in the East Kerry Board jurisdiction and Killarney townies in particular. How the folk from far off Caherdaniel and Sceilig country refer to it is a completely different question.

I have heard our ground referred to as Marky park on many occasions.  It doesn't bother me as most people cant pronounce it much less spell it.

We must have the only field with a K,V and Z in the spelling.
