Watched When Evil Lurks the other night.  Effective little horror movie from Argentina.  Reminded me of a long episode of Hammer House of Horror from the 80s.

The Creator was visually amazing, was very good but could have been better. 7 out of 10.

The Killer, expected more, bit like a film version of Dexter, only assassin instead of forensics expert. 6 out of 10.

The Whale, better than expected. 7 out of 10.

The killer was the biggest pile of balls ever I watched. I didn't have a clue what was going on.

Killers of the Flower Moon pretty average. Actually considering its length I would say poor enough.

Just finished Leave The World Behind. 7/10. I liked it better than the missus.

Bit harsh to like a movie over your missus...

Really enjoyed Leave the World behind, although the ending was pretty poor.

Me too. The ending didn't bother me but that's what annoyed the wife.

Watched it last night, felt it needed something else, but not the worst film

I went at the weekend and saw the new Hunger Games film, A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.  It was about a 5/10 for me.  Good for a family outting.

I had set out to read this book about a year or so ago.  I really enjoyed the 1st half of it and then I actually gave up on in as I began to lose interest when there was a shift in the story.  Unsurprisingly I felt the film went downhill in a similar way.

Still, if you enjoyed the Hunger Games series it is interesting to see how the Donald Sutherland character Snow becomes the person he is.

I'd agree. It just seemed to run out of steam a bit. It was really tense for a large part of the movie, then they just summed the whole thing up in about 2 mins at the end. Perhaps there'll be a sequel? Kind of set up for one...

Took the kids to see Wonka yesterday. It's a nice, feel good type of movie for anyone to watch. Everyone enjoyed it.
