Derry only training from december someone said!! Your having a laugh, been back a long time before that. Sessions even ongoing when clubs were going so no surprise they were full of running at end. Both teams looked in very good nick for this time of year. Down/Armagh will be along same lines. Its gonna be a long intense 6 months so interesting to see how teams cope.

Having watched match last night, how the full back from kilcoo didn't get sent off towards the end of the game. 4 or 5 punches and neither ref or linesman seen it or chose to see it!!. and these are suppose to be best officials around!!

Mickey Harte to Slaughtneill?

Heard the same. Met in an Omagh hotel at start of week. Done deal.

:o
That'll cost a few quid!

Those religious types absolutely love money ...!

dungannon playing against a strong breeze in first half left the canavans inside man on man for large parts of that first half! would collie holmes leave clifford and o shea isolated against mc namee and hampsey?

Mc hugh had spell up his UUJ. Far from impressive was the feedback!

Banty got a new 4 year deal with 1 year extension on the table. Currently mulling it over with his back room team . Said it may take a few months before he gets to speak to all 40 of them but he reckons he's got unfinished business!

Lot of hype about Armagh heading into weekend, tyrone's Niall Morgan suggesting they could win all Ireland!! Once again , they fell when expectation rose. To there credit they never give up but Galway really should have seen that game out comfortably.

Monaghan's forward aren't destructive enough to hurt Mayo imho. I can only see two results here.

Mayo powering away in extra time after stumbling to a draw..

Or Mayo blowing Monaghan away from the throw in.

Mayos system usually lets forwards play. That's a dangerous full forward line of monagahan plus Mc Carthy . Mayo meanwhile will rely totally on runners for scores

Only so many times Mayo can recover and go on to later stages. Defeat today I predict .  Never had good enough forward unit and missing there 2 best form last 24 months will signal the end of road for another 4/5 players

2 nailed on predictions  - tyrone will win and geezer will still be managing armagh in 2023!!

Dublins defense still looks very suspect. Mc Manus could have a field day and save the day again for the farney
